I’ve been using this location for the Mesa Cleaners chain for years. They’ve done a good job for me with my business shirts and also the occasional dry cleaning need. On Mesa between Spicewood Springs and Steck on one of my daily routes to the office. Like the other local laundry chains their«coupons»(read normal price) are reasonable and every once in a while there is a decent special project discount for more expensive dry cleaning projects. Very convenient place for weekly or daily drop off and unlike their chain competitor on the block … they’ve not lost or ruined any of my clothes. Not the most consistently staffed place out front, but the returned product has been very consistent over the years. The prices seem on par with the competition in the area and certainly not outrageous for the service provided.

I have been brought many items here in the past with no issue. There was a recent change in ownership. I brought a comforter in for dry cleaning this week. I picked it up and it was completely destroyed. No apology from the staff.

I’ve been going here since 2007, and they are on-par with the other popular Cleaners in town. Slightly more expensive for dry cleaning, but they do a good job on laundering shirts, which is why I go. Biggest problem I see is a lack of attention to detail. I had buttons replaced on black and gray shirts with black buttons. and they used white buttons and white thread. They redid the buttons, but were less than happy about having to redo the job Staff are pretty helpless up-front, and they have lost(and found) one of my fave shirts before. Still would go here over the Jack Brown next door. What? It’s a Cleaners. You were expecting more? LOL

First of all, this is NOT the Mesa Cleaners at The Triangle. I’m not sure whether they are part of the same chain, but my review is about the one on Mesa. I came because the place was recommended by my father. The first time it was okay. However, the second time I went in, I had some bad vibes. I brought my shirts in on hangers and was in a hurry. Instead of just accepting it, they told me to take them off. So there I stood, in a hurry, taking 10 shirts off their hangers so my dry cleaner could launder them. I also asked them to sew a button on where one was missing from my shirt. It had replacements on the inside, they said no problem. When I got them back, they had laundered the shirt but did not put the button on. Useless. Finally, my bill was around $ 46. Maybe that was pretty decent since they dry cleaned two jackets and two pairs of pants in addition to the 10 shirts. However, like I said, the vibe was bad and I never got the impression that they valued my business. I’d rather pay an extra few dollars and get good service to begin with.

They do a good job of cleaning the clothes. Generally the staff is nice but they do have some turnover. I think the prices are reasonable based on the quality of their work. Clothes never have that horrible dry clean fluid smell.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE… or lack thereof! My husband dropped off a pair of vintage army slacks to be altered. When he went back with the ticket they had given him, on the day they said they would be done, they realized they had given him the wrong ticket and were unable to locate his pants! They said they would have to research it and call him back. They just called today and said that they were in the shop all along but under a different name than his & the issued ticket. My husband told them that he shouldn’t have to pay because of this hassle. They did not agree. They have also been late with some of my dry cleaning & alterations. Though we live in The Triangle and this place in very conevenient, we will NEVER be returning.

Not sure why everyone is bagging on Mesa Cleaners — the service they have provided me over the last year has been flawless, replacing buttons for free, folding shirts on the spot when asked, etc. Always quick, and with coupons, very fairly priced. Sally at the front desk is a sweetheart!

I would never allow anyone I know to use Mesa Cleaners. The Mesa Cleaners at the Triangle lost my wife’s dress; they did not know whether it was in the store, at their factory, or somewhere in between for roughly 2 months. I got the run around; «oh, someone hasn’t called you yet? Someone will call you soon.» I left repeated messages for the owner, who according to Mesa’s receptionist is never in the office. After those 2 months went by, I finally got my call returned: The dress went to the factory, where heat applied in the cleaning had melted some decorative trim on the dress and it was ruined. Mesa offered to pay for the dress after confirming its value. Sadly, we no longer had a receipt for it. I say sadly, because it took an additional two months of me calling and constantly leaving messages to get any further response from Mesa. And when a check was finally left for me at the store(without anyone telling me it was there), it was for about $ 30 less than the dress cost. Not a reputable business.

They must have had a change in ownership. I’ve been frequenting them for four or five years and the service level has fallen off sharply. The staff is very unprofessional. My last experience(and it will be my last), I watched as a half-crazed kid with jeans hanging well below his waist slew f-bombs at another kid — apparently over who could claim as girlfriend the counter person serving me. She was clearly excited about this exchange and threw out a few obligatory curses at their feet just for good measure. The one that really got me was«yo, can’t you see that I’m dealing with a f — -‘n customer?»

I did not care too much for my first(and last) visit to Mesa Cleaners. I thought I was doing my part in helping the local economy by not visiting the chain next door… I made a mistake. First, the place is really expensive for dry cleaning, but once they gave me the bill it was too late to refuse service. When visiting a cleaners, always ask what it costs first! Also, the place lost a button… no big deal… it happens. What pisses me off is that they told me to go find a button, bring it back, and they would sew it on. Am I rude to think that they should have to find the button, pay for it, and sew it on? They were the ones who broke it! Don’t go here. Infact, I will no longer by clothes that have to be dry cleaned, they aren’t worth the hassle… even if you have a good dry cleaner.
