I would give Michael 10 stars if I could. He is currently painting our home — walls, ugly old cabinets, banister… etc. Michael is a first class artist and painter. He really knows his stuff. Extremely detail oriented, affordable, nice guy, good eye for what will look good, professional, honest, and trustworthy. He has been so patient with me, as I have changed my mind on colors a few times. I am so impressed with him. I would recommend him to anyone. He has been the best contractor we have had in our home, and we’ve had a lot. He really goes above and beyond. He knows his materials and what will work on what surface. He makes sure everything looks perfect. Wow. Just, wow.

I recently used Michael when my husband and I decided we wanted to modernize our bedroom. When Michael came to my home, I described the feeling that I wanted for the room. What’s so amazing about His work is that he is not only a painter, but rather an artist. He helped choose and a color for the room and described how the color would tie in with the furniture and artworks. With his artistic eye he helped me to make the room look amazing with accent lighting, bold beautiful walls and stunning molding. To top it off, the painting was done in little time and his prices were competitive.

Ok, I first need to say that not only is Michael Nack a genius when it comes to faux painting, but seriously what a nice person as well. I was very fortunate to have him recommended to me. His professionalism, honesty and integrity is priceless. If you want a job done right and gorgeous the first time, call him. You will not find better. Can’t wait to hire and have him do all of our future faux paint projects.

I was looking for a faux painter to blend my unsightly kitchen outlets with my travertine like wall backdrop and searched on Unilocal for a referral. I had recently moved from California and was accustomed to getting this done in my homes so I had high expectations of the quality I wanted in this type of request. Even though Michael had only one review at the time, I decided to utilize his services because what I saw from the pictures looked very beautiful. Not to my surprise, he completely exceeded my expectations! He faux painted ten outlets and my art piece that had been damaged by my moving company. Everything looks beautiful and Michael is extremely pleasant to work with :-)!!!

Michael Nack just finished applying wonderful art and faux finishes to three pieces of furniture for a client. Each piece had unique requirements and as always, he did a beautiful job.
Michael applied an oval landscape design to an antique chest that coordinated with the bedding and theme of a bedroom. He did a perfect job making it look as though it was originally part of the chest. A small wicker piece was transformed into a 12 year old’s cute white nightstand with polka dots on the shelving. And finally a media cabinet was finished in colors selected from the living room rug.
After seeing the finished pieces, I know this client will be happy with the results. The work was completed in less than a week and the cost was very reasonable. Michael simply has a «nack» with paint.
