Mint Urban Apartments | Establishment

We chose this community over a place down the street that was bigger, because the staff here is so nice and on top of things. Jennifer in particular has made our move in process and stay so far very enjoyable.

New Management is terrible. The new manager Jennifer has no customer service skills at all and doesn’t care about the residents at all. They are always doing something to the complex like construction or coming into the apartment. I’ve been here for a year and I will not be signing a new lease with them. Stay away by all means. The pool is crappy and the laundry machines are terrible. The dryers tend to overheat your clothes and then make your clothes smell sort of burned. The parking is not good at all. The dog park is not even a dog park but just a fenced in area for our pets to use. Oh yea, my bike was stolen 2 months ago when they asked us to put our bikes on the «NEW» racks they installed! Ha. the office didn’t do anything for me. I will be looking for another place near by in this zip code. Do not sign a lease with this place!!! As you can see, all the good reviews are old meaning our previous management was great but will the new managment, things have gotten worse.

Our rent has just been raised $ 200 per month! It turns out that changing the color of the buildings and the appliances is an excuse to increase the rent between $ 200 and $ 250!

I love living here. The neighbors are friendly as is the staff. I feel very safe here. Maintenance requests are always answered quickly. They are doing their best to keep the grounds modern. They upgrade the apartment interiors regularly. My one wish is that they would maintain the laundry rooms better.

I love living here! It is close to everything and I haven’t any issues. It is by far the nicest apartment that I have lived in while living in Austin and I am looking forward to another year. The staff is very friendly and maintenance requests are fixed quickly. The laundry machines are nice and better than other apartments I have seen. Bugs (roaches) have not been an issue as well, I have yet to see one inside or outside of my apartment which I can’t say about previous apartments I’ve lived in. Looking forward to the new renovations!

**First Review**Attentive staff who are willing to admit fault and make corrections when at fault. The pipes are noisy at times but the culture is low key as most of 78 704 is. New company is remaking the entire property and is always doing stuff to give back to residents. Dog friendly and looking forward to the new pool.
**Update** Love the remodel and the staff is awesome! They go above and beyond on service requests and as a company, are adding stuff and services for residents that are enhancing everyone’s quality of life.

I have lived at Mint Urban Establishment (formerly The Establishment) since I moved to Austin in July 2012. I have not been disappointed. The new management company is fantastic. They respond quickly to maintenance issues, are always available to drop a package off at your door if you won’t be home before close, and they are renovating the complex. The new white paint looks wonderful, and the pool area has been redone and looks very nice.
I’m very happy renting here and plan to continue.

I’ve now lived at Mint Urban for 8 months and have had a noverall great experience here. First things first, you won’t find a better office/​management staff. Risa and Erin are extremely professional and helpful. The complex is in a great location. The walls are thin so you can definitely hear neighbors from time to time but the apartments are nice. Never had a bug problem or safety issue. Bus stop right out front and a dog park in the works.
