Kim is my go to stylist in town. I go to her and give a rough idea of a hair cut and I always leave happy and it doesn’t break my wallet either. Great friendly service and they definitely accommodate to make you feel welcome here.

I just moved to the area and after having 2 so-​so haircuts while looking for a new stylist, I found my new go to in Theresa! She has a great personality and attention to detail while being quick without rushing. Definitely one of the best cuts I’ve ever had.

I had a great haircut today with Theresa and let me tell you why. Her skill & precision, sense of the right style for the person and her warm personality. Now throw in there a shampoo, head massage, shoulder massage and a lavender scented hot towel around the face and you have one great value in a hair cut. I also liked how she asked if I prefer scissors or razor… I appreciated the choice.

It was the first time I went to a hair salon in the U.S. since I came to the U.S. just 3 months ago. At first I didn’t want to go because I am not accustomed to have a haircut in a different country. Now, I regret that I didn’t go earlier, thanks to Kim. I am really happy with the haircut! She is so nice and professional. She did a great job and I am glad that I chose to go Mister 512.

Kim has been cutting my hair for years, and I have also received great haircuts by Theresa. She is incredibly consistent, and I am always very happy with my cut. The online ordering system is very convenient, and I never have to wait for a cut — unlike most places in Austin. I also take my son here, and have been very happy with his cuts as well.

If SuperCuts or Sport Clips is your thing, step outside the box and see just what great service and attention you can get for about the same price. Kimberly and Teresa have created an experience that is unbeatable… easy to schedule, great location and all the little extras that other places make upcharges for. These two ladies make getting your haircut truly pleasurable and relaxing. Kimberly has been cutting my and my boys’ hair for a couple of years now and we wouldn’t think of going elsewhere.

Theresa has been cutting my husband’s hair for two years and has started to cut my son’s hair since opening Mister 512. My husband always gets a great cut and we decided my son was old enough to go to a salon that wasn’t just for kids. My son loves the hot towel wrap he gets during his shampoo and gets a kick out of the neck/​shoulder message. Theresa is great with my son, she listens to what he wants and takes the time to show me how to style his hair. My son and husband always come out with a great haircut. I highly recommend Theresa and Kim at Mister 512.

I’ve had my hair cut by Theresa for over a year now and haven’t looked back. She does a great job, is knowledge about styles and trends, and makes the monthly haircut easy. Her new studio is in a nice location, plus it’s very simple to get to and I’ve never had to wait for a cut, ever. One of my favorite things about going to Mister 512 is that it’s always an easy going experience, from the quiet setting to the relaxing shampoo and hot towel. All this at a decent price.
They have an online reservation system that works perfectly, but if you need to schedule something last minute, they respond right away to texts and are very accommodating.
To me, this is the perfect place in Austin for my haircut. I trust Theresa with my hair every month and you should too.

What can I say about this place? Great cuts at a great price with great people. Kim has done my hair for more than a year and I would follow her again. If you are looking for a new place to get your haircut for a guy, don’t go anywhere but here.

Just like most people in Austin I am not from here. I moved to Austin about five years ago. My first two year here I struggled to find a good barber, I tried several barbers and went to several places and could not find someone that would cut my hair right. I happened to come across Kim and just like the times before I crossed my fingers and hoped that I would finally find a barber I could trust and come back to. After she was done cutting my hair I knew I found my barber. She cut my hair exactly the way i like it. The next time I went back she new how I wanted my hair cut and did it again. I have been going to her for three years and have never had a bad cut.
If you are like me and are new to Austin you need to go see Kim.

I looked all over Austin for someone that I could get consistently good hair cuts. I finally found Theresa and Kimberly at another establishment a little over a year ago. When they moved to Mister 512, it was a «no brainer» to follow them. No Question! Scheduling on line is easy and it’s nice to know that you have an appointment «locked in». Theresa mainly cuts my hair but if she is busy I have no problems going to Kimberly. Both are professionals and take great pride in their work. Both are friendly and be prepared to talk LSU football with Theresa during the season. I give this place a «12» on a scale of 1 – 10.

After searching for a someone to cut my hair in Austin for over four years the look is over!
Scheduling an appointment is a breeze with the online process, the time flies as Theresa is very personable and friendly. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and most importantly, a great haircut!

Theresa is my hair-​cutting queen. After several years of bouncing from men’s haircut place to haircut place I finally met my Mrs. Right (of haircuts) when she worked at a place that rhymes with inlays. Well, she has her own rad studio complete with LSU and Saints memorabilia.
I rarely have to wait for an appointment and she delivers a professional and stylish cut for a great price ($ 25) including shampoo. I highly recommend going here for a haircut, but don’t go too much or I won’t be able to get one.

I’ve been going to Kim for the past three years and wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my haircut. She does a great job each and every time. Her new location is inviting and the scheduling couldn’t be easier. She is also very flexible and will go out of her way to fit me in if my schedule changes. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great haircut and just a super friendly and fun stylist!!!

I literally spent years trying to find a first-​rate stylist/​barber in Austin. During that period, I often got my hair cut in Houston because the alternatives were so disappointing (and –yes — I am a hard grader).
These 2 ladies are the best — by far. I have used both of them, and Kimberley has cut my hair for several years now. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Theresa does a great job with my husband’s hair and I tired of the long waiting time and the choppy cuts at kids salon. I was able to schedule an appointment online for my three year old and were seen promptly. My son was laughing throughout his haircut. He loved her tickling machine (a massager) His favorite part was having his hair washed at the end of his cut. He looked so relaxed like he was going to fall asleep! He also had his face wrapped with a warm lavender towel. A lollipop, a great cut, great price and she spiked it for him. He left saying he looked like a superhero and asking when he could get his hair cut again. We’re glad to have found her! See the pics.

I’ve been going to Theresa for well over a year now and I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. This is place is awesome. Easy to get to and the service far exceeds the cost. I’ve paid much more at bigger salons and not received nearly as good of a haircut and shampoo. They have an App for scheduling which is awesome! And it even sends you reminders.
They offer a wide variety of services in a very comfortable setting. Their services are for guys only (as far as I can tell) which is nice.
Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

I love this place. It is fine barber shop in a contemporary setting. If you enjoy being pampered visit Theresa and Kimberly at Mister 512. They offer a nice clean barber shop cut and style with many other grooming options. I like the hot towel and massage. Centrally located near Central Market at Westgate.
