Moody National Bank

Our mortgage lender referred us to Jeff Herman at Moody National Bank for a home construction loan, and I’m so glad he did.
Our real estate situation was very unusual and was in what seemed like a constant state of flux. Jeff was really patient in working with me to talk through various loan options, always happy to explain things to me, never talked down to me, and answered my many, many questions. Instead of being annoyed by all the quirks of our deed restrictions, he honestly seemed to enjoy the challenge of finding the right financial tool for our situation.
In the end, after reviewing our full situation, Jeff actually recommended that we not take out a loan with Moody at this point in our renovation. I was impressed that he was so committed to finding the right financial tool for us that he’d rather give up a loan and «lose» the time he’d spent working with me rather than have us take out a loan we didn’t need.
So, although I’m not currently a Moody bank customer, they will be my first stop next time I am looking for banking services.
