Great folks. They have been around a long time, used them as a kid with my dad’s boats. Grew up & now have to buy my own gas – and slipped a hub on a prop. They worked through PowerTech Props and through my dealer, South Austin Marine, talked me through several options, gave their honest opinions, communicated well and ultimately had the prop drop shipped 2 day to get me on the water this weekend. These guys are straightforward and have been doing this a long time. The prop I got performs much better than OEM. The good guys.

Nettles is an amazing prop shop. I’m 100% happy and will use them for all future repairs. Historically I have worked with my local boat dealer for a prop trade-​out (they work with Nettles on the back end for refinishing) but dealing direct is so much better! Very friendly and knowledgable and committed to customer satisfaction. Instead of replacing the original brand they showed me the improvements possible on an ACME prop and my boat runs smoother than ever before!!!

These guys are THE BEST place to go if your boat prop got damaged! My inboard brass propeller got whacked by something floating in Lake Austin. They even helped me take it off, then put it back on my boat when I towed it there to pick up later. Do great work, prop looks like new, balanced. Only thing to keep in mind is if you need service during busy season, they put you in a queue and it could be a week until you get it back. But worth the wait!

Props by Nettle is a great business with great people. I damaged a prop on Friday afternoon, and needed a replacement Saturday morning. I talked to several people who recommended Nettle. I called them first thing on Saturday morning, and they could not have been more helpful! They recommended a prop and explained how it would change my performance, and even showed me how to install it… I will definitely go to Props by Nettle for all of my propeller/​welding needs!
