Newton Hasson, MD

After I saw Dr. Hasson and wrote this review I found quite a few reviews of him under Austin Orthopedics Spine Sports Medicine and both locations of Greater Austin Spine Sports medicine so look there too. My experience was not a complete trainwreck but he didn’t accomplish much either. I had 2 office visits, the second one to review MRI results. The TOTAL time spent with Dr. Hasson was about 8 – 10 minutes. He was very rushed and then he sent me out the door to the pain dr. across the hall… he couldn’t get me out of there fast enough.
I found it odd that he doesn’t look at MRI’s directly and instead he relies solely on the report. Plenty of doctors have reviewed MRIs with me/​family and noticed things not mentioned on the reports.
I took my MRI disc to Tx Othopedics on 360 and now we’re working to find the exact source of my pain and will work to eliminate it.
