A horrible organization. After getting reassurance my daughter would have a spot, we gave up our position on a Lonestar Soccer Club select team. 2 months after registering we received a short email saying there was no room for her, so we could move up to an older age bracket or get a refund. We asked about wait lists, we asked about watching the older girl practice, we asked for assistance or some accommodation. The guy writes 1 sentence answers that do not help in any way shape or form. I’ll take my refund but now my daughter has nowhere to play soccer. This guy is a joke and should give up this job since he doesn’t care about the kids.

My family has been involved with NASA since we moved to Austin a few years ago. We were heavily involved with the soccer organization where we lived(Philadelphia, PA), and researched to find the right fit for our family. Our experience has been fantastic, thanks to the caring, skillful coaching and emphasis on improving skills and giving ALL kids an opportunity to get out on the field and have fun. I recommend this organization to anyone looking for a quality recreational soccer experience.

Wow! I have finally found the worst run organization in the World… Lol. Ok, maybe just in Austin. I registered my son for soccer and waited for months to hear from them about a team assignment. I never heard from anyone and the web site didn’t have any actual information to help. Since I had already paid, I sent an email to the guy in charge. I asked him if I could find out if my son had been assigned to a team. He replied with bad contact information for a woman he claimed was my son’s coach. After a few bounced emails I asked him again and got yet another email to try. Still no luck. Finally, after a few weeks of trying to get in touch with someone I emailed asking for a refund. Clearly they have not provided any service. I still have not heard back(what a shocker) but my bank was more than happy to refund the money… On the positive side, I finally received an email from another coach claiming to be taking over the team my son was on(news to me). The best part is that the team had already been practicing for weeks and the practice times are Fridays at 3:30 p.m. I kid you not. These folks are a freakin joke. Apparently they are a very large organization for the moment. I can’t wait to see them after a few years of this sort of absolute incompetence. Maybe the leader should look into a job flipping burgers and leave the youth sport to a parent with a little more going on upstairs. Thank goodness the local Y has soccer and they have figured out how to register and assign kids to teams. My last contact with these folks was today(February 232012) and hopefully it will be the last time I ever hear from them. I hope your experience is better than mine but I guess some kids(this time it was my son) fall through the cracks. That said, who in the hell schedules practice for 3:30 p.m. during the week? You just have to laugh about that kind of foolishness.
