Otoko is a 12-seat kaiseki-style Japanese restaurant from one of Austin’s most notable(and best) chefs. It will be opening on the 2nd floor in the South Congress Hotel in March, as a tiny counter-only(micro) Japanese restaurant. The menu will include Tokyo-style sushi and Kyoto-style seasonal kaiseki, weaving sushi and cooked dishes together. Prices for the omakase menu prepared by Paul Qui and head chef Yoshi Okai will cost around $ 150. April reservations will be available on March 1, however, news letter subscribers will get first dibs on Friday, Feb 5. Looking forward to another great addition to the South Congress Hotel.
