Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

This was the choice of the 4-​year old grandson of my girlfriend (over Chinese; good job, Justin). While I didn’t have the chocolate chip pancakes, my Big Country Smasher was just fine. (a little more country gravy would have been nice, perhaps). Everything else was up to par for Perkins; selection, service, cleanliness.

Was not impressed by anything today. Went in with my family 4 adults 3 kids. The server was a nice gal but was not on her game at all. We didn’t recurve our drinks until we asked for them 20 min after our order was taken. The food when it came out wad just sad looking, and really didn’t tatted that we’ll either. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it had OE eggs not poached and there was the smallest amount of hashbrowns I have ever seen in my 13 years of working in food service. Yoy could tell that the usual manager was not on duty. Sad they don’t take pride in what’s going on when management is not there. The only thing that was good wad the kids mac and cheese. Which I would expect add it just comes out of the bag.
Sad because I usually have way better experience than that. we will probably be back as there are very few places to choose from to eat in this town.

I stopped here out of necessity (starving!) while driving from Toronto to Vancouver. What can I say? It’s awful… just…terrible. If food was designed and created by scientists in a labratory, this would be it. Artificial tasting everything posing as «home-​cooking».
If put in the same situation again, I’d let myself go hungry. Do not go here. I’d give this place zero stars if possible.
*Also of note… the patrons here are scary, and what’s up with the biological waste (syringes) disposal boxes in the bathrooms? eeeeeesh!

Typical Perkins. The McD’s of sit down restaurants. I gave this an extra star because it is no smoking now. It was alot grosser with coffee drinkers blowing toxic fumes on my burger and fries.

The food here is always prepared well and the servers are always friendly. It in a great place to go for brunch or to pick up a pie for after dinner.

Yup, it was a Perkins. Just what you’d expect from a chain diner.
