Phyllis is the best! She always nails my haircut. She’s affordable and she’s a great conversationalist. She’s been giving me lady advice and cutting my hair for 3 years.

Phyllis has been my go-​to barber since I moved to Austin. She always gives amazing haircuts, is affordable, and is a pleasure to talk with. If you haven’t stopped by (no appointment needed, just walk on in), then you are missing out on a fantastic haircut!

Whenever my hair grows to an untameable fuzz, I always look forward to visiting Phyllis! Even when months and months go by, she instantly recognizes me and remembers exactly how I like my hair cut. And this is a whole lot coming from someone who, for most of my life, dreaded visiting barber shops (few could ever get it right!)
Phyllis is an incredibly sweet and experienced barber who has been cutting hair for decades. Since the first day I met her, she still expresses genuine enthusiasm in her work and always cares for all of her customers. She’ll greet you with a broad smile, put you at ease, and make the time fly with pleasant conversation.
I had a big job interview coming up, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! :)

Phyllis has been cutting my hair for 14 years and does a great job. When I first started with her she suggested a new hair style for me. We now joke it worked well because shortly after I met the woman who became my wife. I’ve taken my son to her too (since his first haircut) and he really enjoys her. I appreciate that she gets to know each of her customers.
