The pies here are amazing! The pumpkin pie is the best that I have ever had and the homemade ice cream is delicious. Give this place a shot!

This place is so sweet. It’s a one man pie show! He bakes, he sits in his tiny little trailer, and he gives you his phone to sign your credit card bill. Passion. And deliciousness. $ 5 a slice. That’s pretty cheap for the heaven which will lay in your tongue. Go here. Pay your $. Eat the pie.

The bourbon sour cherry is amazing! Definitely very boozy, tart, sweet, and complex flavors. The owner said it was their best selling pie. We’ll be back to try the others soon!

I recently had the chance to try a slice of heaven from Pie Plante. The bourbon sour cherry pie is simply the most beautiful looking and delicious cherry pie in existence. The pie is not overly sweet, and the crust was flaky and nutty… perfection that you didn’t even know existed. Simple, quality ingredients with complex flavors.

The owner of Pie Plante delivered pies to our office today.
Today was also the first time I ate a salad this week in an attempt to be healthy.
My salad tasted like shit but THESE PIES DID NOT. Screw my bikini body i want to eat these pies for the rest of my LIFE

I recommend every single pie on this list. Today, we got a handful of them delivered to work and they were a huge hit! People could not stop eating them. I had the Strawberry Apple Pie and it was amazing. My coworkers told me that I had to try a piece of each pie, which I would have if my stomach could handle it. The baker himself even came to bring us his pies that he made! I will definitely come back here for any pie that I need whether it be a slice after dinner or a whole pie for a special occasion.
If there is one thing that we needed more of in Austin, it’s pie!!! YAY!

As a deep southerner by birth, pie is no laughing matter. I can say that Pie Plante takes theirs very seriously. I had a slice of lemon chess pie that felt as familiar as good southern fried chicken and sweet iced tea. Find your way to this sweet little spot and transport yourself to a loving pie moment from your cherished past.

Best slice of pecan pie I’ve ever had. So good it doesn’t even need ice cream.

The pie is really great! And the owner is cool too. It’s a little hard to find but well worth it. The pie selection is always changing so it’s good to go every night, as long as you don’t mind being fat.

This food truck court is AWESOME. Ate at Pie Plante a few weeks ago after Cheke’s (which is also great if you are looking for a dinner/​dessert combo — check out my review there). To start off, we got a slice of pie and got in the car to take it home…
But unfortunately… Things never made it that far. It was UNBELIEVABLE. The Chocolate Mousse pie was so rich, but still so light and fluffy that it was eaten on the ride home. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend this spot (and specifically the chocolate mousse) for anybody seeking dessert.
BONUS: we had a great little chat with the owner/​operator/​pie-​maker and he seemed super nice, and if you’re ever dying for more, his Cherry Bourbon pies (and maybe others) are sold at Farm to Market grocery!

I like pie. I, however LOVED this pie. Hard to find fresh and delicious pie made from scratch — with creativity — but here it is! Driveway was easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled for the sign — do not let another day go by without going to Pie Plante. I’m going back tomorrow…

Ab-​soul-​etly scrumptious. The coconut cream pie hit the spot. The balance of sweetness and pie crust was perfect. Every time I would get closer to the end, I would stop and chew on the small bits of coconut in the pie.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT… esp if you are looking for the perfect desert.

This place is the place to get pie. It’s super yummy. The lemon pie is to die for! Also, he’s very nice and if you have any questions, he is more than willing to answer them.

Hands down best pie ever and I love me some pie. We had the Lemon Chest and the Chocolate Mousse and shared with a group of 4. Best decision ever and it is served with fresh real deal whip cream! I can’t wait to stop here again & again!

Stop everything you are doing and go to the Pie Plante food truck off Oltorf in South Austin. The owner is just as sweet as his pies and makes everything by hand with love. You can order slices of pies right then and there or place orders for whole pies with 2-​day notice.
The coconut cream pie is slap your grandma ridiculous. And by that I mean SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Best pie ever. Love you, Grandma!

This place definitely makes a good pie. Usually two choices are available: One fruit and one squash or nut related. The owner treats you like his own children.
