This place is bangin. Great prices, great food, friendly staff. Exactly what I was looking for when in the mood for Brazilian food.

Authentic brazilian food. I love the feijoada as Portobello was able to make it very traditional and it is sooooo good! The staff is friendly and owners are awesome!

Not a good experience at all. Waited for 30 minutes to get menus alone. Waited another 20 minutes to get the food. The Pao de Queijo seemed like it had been reheated and not fresh. The picanha was dry and my child’s quesadilla was cold and the cheese was not even melted it was just thrown on the flour tortilla. The rice had good flavor and the salad was good. Waiters were very nice though.

The food was awesome I had the Tomato fish stew a Sunday lunch special and it was delicious great flavor. My wife had the chicken and fries with beans… the beans were a delicious pork filled goodness. The service was perfect and the waitress was awesome explaining the food to us. We will be back for the Saturday special…

The only previous experience my wife I have had with Brazilian food was a few different places like Fogo, Fogo wins hands down on the quality but not price. We tried a few appetizers and one entrée. The beef and cheese empanadas were pretty good, the other app we tried was a little dry… chicken stuffed dough balls. The steak kabob was plentiful, but a little chewy and bland. The service was pretty good.

Found this place on Unilocal and I tried it with my family it’s a good family owned Brazilian food. Fresh food and dessert is perfect!

My wife and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon wanting something new. This place had been on my list for a few months. I love Brazilian food, but it isn’t as easy to find as, say, Chinese. Portobello’s has all the things I love about a small restaurant. The atmosphere is sparked by friendly staff, the restaurant is clean and well decorated(check out the art work on the walls! If you like it, you can buy prints!), and the food is delicious. My wife got the Mediterranean Chicken Kabob and I got the Grilled Chicken with Onions. I can’t wait to try more of the menu. We couldn’t stop talking about the food after we left, which is saying a lot about two critics. Consider us regulars!

The staff is friendly but as someone who has been to Brazil the food is not on par on what you usually get in the country.

Wow! Amazing food, great price, super nice staff! I’ll be coming here pretty frequently. I also noticed a lot of Brazilian people around, it may be a nice place to meet some people.

I am very disappointed. I looked at their menu online before going and they had dishes and appetizers I would like to try. Sadly when I got there, the ONLY food they were able to serve me was some drumstick on their appetizers and their lunch specials. What happen to the other dishes… like the two dishes I was hoping to order. We were told that they have no more of that, as in they ran out of it in the kitchen? A good restaurant wouldn’t let the kitchen run out of food TO the point where the customer can only order 1 out of 10 dishes of appetizer and like 5 out of 25 dishes. The drive from my hotel to the restaurant isn’t fast either, it was atleast a 40 mins. I guess that’s what happens when we are just tourist, looking for good food through internet. The good about this place? The sprite, diet coke, and sweet tea we ordered was great.

Good food, good atmosphere, and friendly service. If you’re in the mood for some homemade taste of trivial authentic brazilian dishes it’s where to go. Not to mention the famous picanha! Reasonable price combined with good flavor and simplicity. Perfect to meet friends for a quick lunch. And you’ll probably run into a lot of other brazilians. Now they’re selling wine and beer. What else you can ask for?

One awesome trip to Brazil ! We had the cubed beef with fried bananas, rice, quinoa and a bowl of black beans with sausage that was world class downright perfect. Feijoada — a black been, sausage stew is incredible. The real thing. Don’t put off your visit, this is THE place to get a taste of Brazil. Outstanding.

Homemade style Brazilian food. They have a different way of doing it. There is a buffet and you get to choose what you want and weigh it. There is a variety of foods: some they always offer like: rice, beans, french fries, fried yucca, fried bananas, salads, vegetables. And a couple that they change every day. They also offer barbecue, done the gauchos way. Drink some guarana while there. For dessert you can have yummy brigadeiros. If you never tried Brazilian food, it is going to be a nice surprise, if you miss it you will like it too.

Came here a month or so ago and meant to post a review! Came in here on a slow weeknight with my husband and order the beef stroganoff with rice and fries. So good!!! After spending 6 months in Brazil a few years back this was as close to authentic as I have found. Do Not come in here expecting an overpriced churrascaria like a estancia or fogo de chão, this is more like a traditional Brazilian restaurant, but working with US ingredients/produce. At the end we had some very delicious brigadeiro!!! Will definitely be returning to try the coxinhas!

Good food and good service. I came here for Saturday lunch. Plenty of open tables available. The menu is limited to about 5 choices of entrees. I had the day’s special — I forgot the name of the dish. It’s a black bean pork and sausage stew. Pretty good. I had the flan for desert. It has coconut at the bottom which is very nice. Price is ok. $ 11 for the stew and about $ 3 for the flan.

I love this place, I’ve been to Portobello Brazilian Grill countless times and I’ll go back for sure. Sure they are new in the business and there is some things that could be better but I know for fact that they are working on it. I live South but I don’t mind the commute to taste authentic Brazilian food at a reasonable price. I have to say that the deserts are also delicious, the staff is nice and the AC problem has been long fixed. I’m happy to have a Brazilian place at affordable cost in Austin. Thank you Portobello!

Wanted to try this Brazilian restaurant and try the Picanha. It was good but the meat wasn’t as tender as I expected. I’ve always heard Brazilians method of cooking beef is usually really tender. The service was great and the girl was on top of her stuff. She even slipped and fell on some stagnant water that was on the ground. I felt bad for her since she was going 100 miles per hour. They could use another waitress to accommodate the traffic. Overall I will come back again!

I would love to give this neighborhood restaurant 5 stars but it would not be truthful. As i mentioned it is your neighborhood restaurant and we should support this establishment. Let’s go straight to the reason of three stars. When it comes to Brazilian food it all starts with the staple meat to be the best and the picanha here needs improvement. My picanha order did not have any flavor but just a typical meat looking like a top cut with no seasoning of sea salt or garlic. You forgot to season the meat or do you just not put it on? I will try it again in another month to hopefully see this fix. If not, i will just have to go find another Brazilian restaurant. I do have to give high notes and one extra star for the customer service and pudim though. I have to take away one star because they do not serve coffee.

A comida estava morna pra fria e ressecada. Nao parecia fresca.
