Omar the manager was very helpful. I had trouble loading something into my unit and he stopped what he was doing and came out and helped me. Took time out of his day to make sure I was comfortable. Would recommend.

I have a 6×10 locker here and the price is good compared to other facilities. Cons: The $ 1 first month applies only if you’ve never had a Public Storage locker before. No insulation under the roof — when the sun is out it gets hot. Latch had come off and was reattached with machine screws. I replaced them with my own non-removable bolts. You need to get out of your car to enter the access code both entering and leaving. The access code stops working precisely at 9PM — at 9:01PM the gate won’t open and you can’t get out.(fortunately there was a woman who had a code that opened the gate, she said she didn’t work for Public Storage). No sprinkler system or visible smoke detectors. There is a man living in the locker behind mine, playing music and smoking.(reported to management) Pros: Cheap. A light bulb(and therefor electricity) in each locker. Police say there have been relatively few break-ins to storage lockers on N. Lamar. The man living in the locker next to mine has stopped smoking in his locker so mine smells less like a dive bar.(told management the next time I smell smoke in my locker I’m calling the fire department) Oddly enough, in a contract where the renter must give up all rights to any expectation of service or security, smoking in a storage facility without sprinklers or smoke detectors is not prohibited.

Great service. Adam was very accommodating and is a true gentleman. The storage spaces are clean, secure and conveniently spaced. There is plenty of room to load in and out.
