I love this place! They have so many vegan products that I use and even more than that I have yet to try. They are the only place in Austin that carries the new and amazing VeganEggs. Right next door to Fair Bean Coffee.

A vegan grocery! I’m in love with this place. Plus the owners and staff are so helpful. It’s great to walk around and know you can eat anything they have without trying to decipher the tiny print on the labels (when did they start making that print so small?)

You guys… This place is a gem. If I could give it ten stars I would. First of all, it is heavenly to be able to conveniently shop in a store that is 100% cruelty free from the front to the back. No animals harmed anywhere! Plus tons of local goodies, lots of hard to find vegan treasures, and best of all, great prices. The owners are so friendly! I’ve had pleasant experiences both shopping in store and online. Definitely a go-​to spot in Austin!

This is the place to go for vegan stuff. I’m not vegan, but my husband is, so we go here from time to time. The owner is super nice. They have a decent amount of food in there. It’s a tiny bit on the expensive side, but it seems vegan stuff often is. The people who work there are super nice and are always happy to answer any «stupid» questions an omnivore, like myself, may have.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. Their selection of items is great, everyone was friendly, and eager to help/​address questions.
I also found these soy curls («jerky») that were SO good.
Seriously, great place to find snacks and other shelf products. They also had some sweets, which my daughter loved. It’s neat being able to walk into a store and not have to worry about it being vegan or not. Two thumbs up, Rabbit Food!

This store is a vegan’s dream! But it’s not just for vegans. If you are a snack lover, this place is for you! Chips, cookies, chocolate bars, cookie dough, jerky, basically any snack you could want! Plus they have a lot of shelf stable goods like soups, canned goods, and mac and cheeze. Their toiletries section is great because so many toiletries aren’t inherently vegan (toothpaste, condoms, etc.) and I also adore the accessories section, filled with adorable wallets, scarves, socks, purses.
My favorite section, though, would have to be the card section. HILARIOUS cards that I buy way too many of whenever I visit. To top it all of, they carry the vegan dog food I feed my dog! The shop owners are super friendly and helpful. Seriously, this place is the greatest!

I LOVE this little store! My husband and I like to go and grab an iced coffee from next door and come look around. You can even bring your dog!
There’s tons of little goodies to look at. You don’t have to be a vegan or vegetarian, but this place really makes me happy to make more ethical choices and support a local business. I’m excited to see them grow!

This place is as an awesome little Austin gem. I’ve been moving toward a vegetarian lifestyle because of recent serious health problems and had been meaning to check out this store awhile. This diet and lifestyle change had been very difficult for me because I really do enjoy meat and dairy. So of course like every non vegan (almost) I have preconceived notions about what they eat and whether or not they’re healthy. The two women in the store were so kind answering my questions, putting up with my comments and curiosity. They gave me a map of all the vegetarian restaurants in Austin which was super helpful and I went crazy on their vegan organic candy. Basically this place is amazing and I’ll be back and directing anyone I can to go there.

This place is AWESOME! They carry several options you can’t find anywhere else. It’s certainly a one stop shop for the vegan lifestyle. The owner is extremely friendly AND knowledgeable. If you’re looking for great recommendations around Austin she can tell you, or if you are looking for recommendations on meals, she knows her stuff!

Awesome little vegan grocery store! Gabriel is such a sweet and down to earth guy. They carry a lot of the lesser known vegan novelty items you wont likely find in Whole Foods or Wheatsville. I really hope to see this place grow into a full size grocery store. Be sure to grab some Dillo’s while you’re there. They put any non-​vegan Twinkie to shame!

A 100% vegan grocery store? Man, we vegans are so spoiled here in Austin! All the sweet and salty junk food you could ever want, plus baking needs, frozen stuff, etc. AND the music playing in the background is always killer. Last time I was in, it was Desmond Dekker. The only thing the store is missing is fresh produce, and then I’d have to find a way to give it 6 stars.

The place is small and new but I had a wonderful time browsing around finding new brands and things to try. I’m vegetarian but still founds lots to check out. With regular food things (like flour and rice) to vegan tuna and beef jerky for foods, then socks and purses and pet food too there is lots to see.
I spoke with one of the owners who was wonderfully knowledgeable about veg/​vegan options, events, restaurants, etc around the area and a really nice guy. There were loads of fliers and books for info around the store too. And you can order online!
I just hope they can get the zoning changed so they can get more refrigerated/​freezer space for more cold yummies.

This place is unreal. Imagine walking into a store and the only thing you have to concern yourself with is which flavor of whatever to pick! Everything is vegan, but also the environment is clean, organized and inviting. I’ve had a great experience both times I’ve shopped here so far. Found many new and delicious treats to explore. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. How lucky we are to have this store right here in the ATX. Highly recommended for trying new things. GO Local and go home happy!

What a sweet little neighborhood grocery, I love it. Not only is there a great selection of vegan food products but they also have a select number of gift items, perfumes, jewelry, and vegan handbags. Unfortunately it is not in my neighborhood but it is definitely worth the drive so I will be going back.

They have opened a brick & mortar! Austin is SO lucky! I can’t wait to see this business grow and flourish.
They have so many products that you can’t find anywhere else in town and I love knowing that everything is vegan. I don’t have to bring my reading glasses to look through all the small print on the ingredient lists and my money goes back into making their business bigger and better.

Bought my sister a gift certificate for Christmas. The customer service was otustanding. The certificate arrived right on time, and the owners communicated with me perfectly.
While looking through the website I was very impressed with the selection of goodies that Rabbit Food offers, which can all be shipped directly to you or picked up at a select date in the Austin area.
I can’t wait to hear about the goodies that my sister chooses.

I have been purchasing items from RFG since day 1. The owners couldn’t be more helpful! There has not been an item that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. They are always adding new items, things I’ve not seen anyone else have. Great job RFG, look forward to continuing to do business with such an awesome company!

I am SO HAPPY that Rabbit Food is here! The owners know more about vegan products than anyone else I know so they are the perfect people to be starting a business like this. I love that they have done my homework for me so I can just saunter in, buy a bunch of queso, twinkies, cheese, candy, cookie dough, and whatever else strikes me and I don’t have to worry for a second about what kind of nasty things it contains.
And they offer so much stuff that you can’t find anywhere else in Austin! I hope they get bigger and bigger until they are the new HEB and no one eats animals anymore because they forgot why they would ever do that in the first place.

I’ve had a dream of opening a vegan grocery store, so I can have all the cool vegan items that I can’t find in this city.
Now, I don’t have to, as Rabbit Food Grocery is doing it. I can now leave them to do all the hard work, and still bask in the wonderfulness of having hard to find vegan foods in my little hands.
I went on the website, and made a cool order. I called them to see if they could do a daytime pickup, as most of their pickup times are like after six pm.
They added special dates and times for people like me.
Did I mention their phone number is 666-​tofu?
No shit, it is, those clever vegans!
So, I meet them at pickup location today, and saw their cute little table. They had my order all packed up and ready to go. They mentioned they could carry other hard to find items and to just let them know. Oh, I will.
They were nice, and friendly, and wore giant smiles on their faces.
I can’t wait until their store is open, but for now, I’ll be making regular orders from the website and pickup my order.
