A friend turned me on to Dr. Watson and his office in the northwest of the city. They are fantastic — a great staff, with top of the line equipment (for example, you don’t have to wait weeks for them to send off to have a crown made — they can do it while you wait!), and truly friendly and knowledgeable people. I never felt like they were trying to upsell me or pressure me to get more work done than I needed. All of the work they did on my mouth has been great — sturdy, unnoticeable (exactly what you want with dental work!), and dependable.
I would recommend them to anyone.
I’ve moved away due to work, and one of the things I’m going to miss the most from Austin is these folks.

I had to take my daughter in for an emergency extraction of her molar… the staff on the phone were so nice they got her in right away. They took care of everything by the time I got there with my daughter. They had my insurance on file and were very compassionate. They saw my daughter, quickly and the entire experience was relaxing, considering that my child was in pain. Dr. Watson himself was very nice and her talking and laughing. She actually wanted to go back to the dentist.
This place was awesome! They were amazing and what a relief that they saw her so quickly. Did I mention we were not regular patients. We are now!

The dental hygienist at this location, Amye, is SO nice. She would be the ONLY reason I would go back here. Service from everyone else felt impersonal, even though they were nice. I felt as if I was just a number and it seemed that a lot of the work that «needed» to be done, was not truly necessary. Second and Third opinions are always best.
