The egg and cheese croissants are awesome! Very good donuts as well.

The doughnut holes are amazing and they have a huge selection of flavors, melt in your mouth! The classic buttermilk doughnut is to die for! The owners are super sweet and usually always throw something extra in for me… but this is prob because I go towards closing time! This is a must try, top notch!!!

Their blueberry cake donuts are my favorite! I wish they made more of those because they tend to run out by 8 or 9. Get there early and you won’t be disappointed. Such nice people operate this place as well and will always make you feel welcome. They might even throw in some extra donuts as an added bonus!

Their donuts, kolaches, and breakfast tacos are awesome! The staff is very friendly! Today was my second time going and along with my order, they gave me a free blueberry donut to try and it was very good! Definitely found my new go to breakfast spot!

I would have given one star based on my experience, but the manager tried to make up for the problem(sort of). First of all, the donut and croissant egg sandwich were decent tasting versus the price paid, so no complaints on the food. My issue was with the fact that the menu listed the egg croissant at $ 2.16, but I was charged around $ 2.80(the donut was charged at the menu price, though). The guy working there said that«the menu hadn’t been updated yet» to show the new price. I lived in SE Asia for 2.5 years and heard this excuse countless times(the couple working was Khmer); However, in the past it was usually just a ploy at hustling for extra cash and pocketing the difference. Keep in mind I was the only one there, so in theory they would have had ample time to update the menu, if it was really a case of updating the menu to show the higher prices. We had a bit of a talk(civil, not yelling) and in the end he gave me a free donut; Which would have made the total amount paid be accurate, had I bought two donuts and the sandwich. At the end of the day, I figure it took me an extra 70 cents to know that I won’t return back again. Thus, my advice is to stick to donuts, and if you order an egg sandwich or breakfast taco, be sure they charge you the correct amount. They use an old-school cash register where they manually put in the amount of each item(AFAIK) and not a computer. Austin has an adequate amount of competition for your breakfast dollars, so give them a try if you want, but make sure everything is as it should be.

The tacos are nothing special — not much flavor besides the salt. The coffee is worse, your typical gas station«who-knows-how-long-it’s-been-there» watery, brew. I haven’t tried their donuts, but I don’t think I’ll be back to find out.

An awesome neighborhood donut shop with friendly staff that remember you. The breakfast sandwiches are really hearty and their donuts are moist and tasty. The cake donuts are the best! The breakfast tacos and sausage kolaches are on par with other donut shops that sell breakfast tacos, but if you’re looking for something savory I personally prefer the croissant sandwiches. We drop in at least a couple times per month. I recommend it if you are in the area.

If you have a donut operation, I’d highly advise putting out actual milk and cream for your customers’ coffee. Those little preservative laden containers of slop will ruin any coffee & donut experience. Nice staff, great selection of donuts.

A generic donut shop. You have to get in early if you want any specialty donuts. I came in at 10:30 on a Saturday morning and most were sold out. Donuts were okay. Not as soft as I’m used to, and the cake donuts tasted kind of oily. Will probably just go to HEB next time.

Reviewer Raquel C. was 100% accurate in describing this place as «generic,» as from what I can see and taste there is absolutely nothing special about it. My chocolate crème-filled donut was as bland as could be, tasting nothing like chocolate in that uncanny way that only a cheap, crappy donut place can pull off. My sausage, egg, and cheese croissant was greasy and tasted exactly identical to what one would find at McDonald’s, and that alone should clue you in to the nature of this establishment. The taste of regret(but at least it’s cheap!)

Small café where you can get breakfast before 1pm. They have a simple variety of breakfast kolaches, donuts, tacos and sandwiches. They also have a drive thru on the side of the building if parking gets a bit tight or if you are trying to grab on the go. The only thing i do not agree on is the bread to meat ratio of the sandwich and kolache. I liked the boudain kolache and the country kolache, the sausage in those are bigger than the regular kolaches which i think has too much bread. I also tried the croissant sausage, egg and cheese sandwich which was ok. Over all this place is just convenient. The food is not outstanding but its not bad either, its generic. Its prepared food that tastes familiar.

We used to frequent the 183 location but they had sadly closed down… This location is even better though, there is always a great variety of donuts and all of them are exceptionally good! I had a coconut custard filled, buttermilk, and the heavenly Bavarian crème, which is hands down the best I’ve ever had anywhere! The service is very friendly too! If you are a donut connoisseur this place is a must!

I’m not a big doughnut person, but my favorite is blueberry cake. I needed to get a large quantity for an office meeting and I called my order in about an hour before I needed to pick it up. When I arrived, both of the employees were very friendly and helpful. My order was ready when I arrived and the lady at the counter had even thrown in 25 free doughnut holes!(When you’re feeding the office, anything extra is great!) After setting up, I grabbed a blueberry cake doughnut for myself. BEST blueberry doughnut I’ve ever eaten! It was moist, but not greasy. It didn’t have any of that awful glaze they can sometimes come with. Just all around awesomeness! I will definitely be going back!

Stopped by River City Donuts on the way to work today. Lady was extremely nice and helpful. Bought a breakfast taco & egg sausage biscuit. Picked up some donuts for the office. Donuts were awesome! the blueberry one had so much flavor! it was amazing! my co-workers also were amazed at how good they tasted! One said«This is the best tasting donuts I’ve had in a long while» The egg & sausage was equally delicious! You have new fans!

Exceptional service! The lady who runs the place is incredibly nice. She remember what you order as well. Second visit, she asked if I needed a smoothie(which is what I ordered a few days earlier on my first visit). Today, I ordered a smoothie and approximately a week and a half later she remembered I didn’t want whipped cream on it. Pretty impressive. Breakfast tacos are nothing special, but will satisfy your hunger. The donuts, on the other hand, are exceptionally good. Possibly the best blueberry cake donut I’ve ever eaten. Incredibly moist, but far from greasy. Coffee can be filed with the breakfast tacos… nothing special, but it’ll do in a pinch. The service keeps me coming back. Such a sweet, sweet lady.

I had been passing by this donut shop for quite some time &FINALLY got to try it today. What a GREAT decision! The selection of their donuts is very similar to Dunkin Donut & that is so great! Their Chocolate Honey Glazed donut holes – hands down better than Dunkin Donuts! Their selection of donut holes is HEAVENLY. If you are a fan of donuts, you MUST give this shop a try. And you know what? You get a free donut from the owner just for giving them a try. How can you beat that?!?

Finally an independent donut shop that delivers something more than the standard fare. Their Chocolate Honey Glazed donut is incredible. They have many more varieties but be warned on some days if they have a run, you may be limited on what you can get. The Other offerings; Coffee, BFKST Croissant Sandwiches and BFKST Tacos are there for those who dont want a donut or pastry. The Croissants are better in quality over the taco. I like the Sausage Egg and Cheese Croissant on off donut days. The standard brew coffee is avg at best, which is what you get with most donut places. I would recommend that they get some Starbucks brew to help improve. The Cappuccino, Mocha and other extended coffee drinks are really good, they are hand made, not a machine powder substitute like most. The owner and staff symbolize the american dream. Own your own business, and deliver a fine quality product. I will be stopping there anytime I have the donuts urge. Drive Thru Window, good prices and open till 1pm each day. Is it morning yet :)
