Wish I could give 0 stars as my first experience with Rooster Teeth was a turn-off beyond belief. I had signed up for a yoga class, which I now know was a joke, courtesy of Rooster Teeth. The«instructor» began the class by telling us he used to be really into drugs, drinking & sex, then began popping beers, choking on said beers and pretending to lead us in a yoga flow, AKA the YMCA while he then began mixing cocktails. I’m a huge fan of comedy, in fact, I listened to stand-up comedy on the way over. Not only was this spoof not a good joke nor was it even the groan-worthy type of funny. It was simply full-on disrespectful. We, and ½ the class left about 10 minutes in, incredibly turned off and angry. We stopped by the«sign in» table, took back all our forms, waivers, etc. and asked if this had been a prank. The 3 people sitting at the table looked at us like we had just spoken Chinese, saying nothing in return. Unfortunately for them, the name«Rooster Teeth» was all over the waivers, so it didn’t take more than about 5 seconds and Google to put 2 and 2 together. Not only was it a complete waste of our time, but it’s now a complete waste of Rooster Teeth’s time because they won’t be able to post the video without ½ the consent forms. It’s also incredibly damaging for Rooster Teeth’s brand as well as the Soma Vida brand, where the«class» was held. The class could have been funny/enjoyable if it had presented in a «Tony and Tina’s wedding» type of way where participants have an idea of what they’re signing up for. In fact, knowing the crazy Austin yogi community, that would probably be a big hit(you’re welcome for the idea). The point is, no one likes a bait and switch, especially when it involves wasted time and money. Like I said, I’m all for a good joke, but this one was completely in bad taste, wasted 3 hours of our time as well as gas money to get over to East Austin and back.

If there was such a thing as an Internet Hall of Fame, Rooster Teeth is one of the websites that should be on there. They have everything from funny podcasts, exciting let’s plays from their sidekick website known as , and most notably for their award-winning web series known as Red vs. Blue. If you have talent in video editing, playing video games, drawing, and graphic designing, applying a job for RoosterTeeth would be a wise choice.
