Trish at Saddlecreek apartments told my current roommate, for over two years, we could not move in together because my roommate did not qualify per poor credit. The property manager then told me, and backed up Trish, by saying«we will keep your $ 400 admin fee and you must find an apartment on our complex to move into or forfeit the admin fee…» Basically, they can keep the application fee of $ 50 from myself and $ 50 for my roommate, but why force me, ALONE, without my roomie, to move in and NOT refund my $ 400 admin fee? Bullies. Also, I have a pet and they will tack on $ 20 rent per month and charge a total of $ 400 pet fee!!!

Take pictures when you move out, just to help yourself out. They try some shady stuff. Not sure if it’s the front office or just the maintenance people but will never go back just for that reason.

In the 11 months that I’ve lived here, I’ve had three different property managers. The first two were amazing! I also have really appreciated the friendliness of certain members of the maintenance staff. The current property manager feels like she and her vendors can enter my home at any time they feel like it with less than 24 hours notice. Sometimes, without any notice at all. My largest problem with this property is the dog park. It is built on top of an actual drainage ditch and is very dangerous. The property has gone through many exterior upgrades regarding landscaping in the last several months but absolutely nothing has been done to the dog park. This is especially disappointing considering this property management company’s name is Roscoe, named after the owners dog. They pride themselves on being very dog friendly however, they don’t take care of their dog park at all. Mushrooms have been allowed to grow to epic proportions, the grass is rarely cut down and there is no safe way to walk in, out or around the dog park. What started as a lovely living experience has grown to be unbearable. I cannot wait to move on to my new home.

I moved here about 5 years ago… I was running from another place actually. I got a great floor plan which has a lot of storage. The pool is very nice with all the landscaping, palm trees… feels like a mini resort. Maintenance has been very good. They replaced my dishwasher and it works great now. The only thing I wish is that the clubhouse was open on Sundays but that seems to be the norm with apartments, however you can still use the gym as it has another entrance than the clubhouse. Definitely recommend this property but beware as there is a train that comes close to buildings in the back so I recommend no more than one building over from the clubhouse but not next to Manchaca road would be ideal. Also, probably don’t want to face the pool but the parking lot instead if noise is an issue. Usually only a summer issue. Lots of dogs on this property but have not had a problem with this even though I am not a dog owner.

Lived here for a year in Aug 2013 – 2014. Jessica was the one to help us initially, but she moved to another Property. Hollie was the one who was our main contact after that. They were very friendly, the apt was always kept nicely. Parking was consistently an issue, as well as people not cleaning up after their animals. A little pricey for how south it is compared to central Austin, but a safe community with minimal issues. Kids were never out, dogs didn’t bark too often, maintenance only came in when requested. Did have a bit of an issue also with getting a new fridge, but eventually it was resolved.

The office staff at saddle creek is amazing. The manager April is always taking initiative to handle my needs in a timely manner. Also every time I go to the office Ruby“s customer service is over the top and leaves me with a lasting memorable experience. All I have to say is as long as ruby and April are around you won’t be disappointed with saddle creek. I love them!!!

From day one, I have loved living at Saddle Creek. The people who work in the leasing office are amazing at what they do. Our move in day was on a Tuesday and I had emailed them a few days before, asking if there was any way we could get some accent walls painted. I knew what I was asking and told them that I realized it was super short notice, and that my roommate and I were totally okay with having maintenance come paint after we had moved in because it was a tall order. When I got my keys and started lugging things upstairs, I was shocked to find that the walls were finished. They looked spectacular and I was so impressed that they had finished them with such short notice. I thanked Shaun, whom I had contacted in the leasing office and asked to paint the walls, and he said he wanted us to be happy on our move in day. We were VERY pleased. Jessica, who also works in the leasing office, is also extremely helpful. She’s always got a smile on her face and is very knowledgeable about the complex and maintenance issues. She’s always willing to answer my dumb resident questions in a way that makes me feel like I’m not stupid for asking. Shaun and Jessica are both very helpful. I accidentally left my gate access card in my car after I’d been in a wreck and the body shop was closed over the weekend, so I called the front office and they made an arrangement for me to get a temporary card even after the office was closed. In short, I’ve never had an unpleasant experience when swinging by with questions or concerns. They are very helpful, friendly, courteous, and professional. I don’t usually write reviews, but honestly, the customer service and the way residents are treated at this complex really stood out to me. I’ve felt totally at home here since I moved in and I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
