Sauce The Band

If there were a six star rating, we’d give it. We are still dancing from our wedding in May! My brother saw this band at a wedding in Austin a few years ago and highly recommended them. When my (now) husband and I were looking around for a band that could swing pop, motown and funk, we found that The Sauce met all our criteria. And come wedding day, they did not disappoint! The ten-​piece band got all our guests on the dance floor, interacted with the crowd and didn’t let up until midnight! They worked beautifully with our emcee (my brother) to move between toasts and first dances. They accommodated our playlist requests and ended with a special moment by bringing us up on the stage to belt out Don’t Stop Believin’ while watching all our friends serenade us. Then they partied with us at the hotel bar until the wee hours of the morning ;0) A fantastic band and well worth the investment!

Sauce played at my wedding on April 25, 2015. They were unbelievably amazing! They were the best performers and had great voices. All of the wedding guests were on their feet dancing– the dance floor was packed the entire night. My husband and I danced all night long it seemed like (i’ve actually never seen my husband dance that much before– it was wonderful!). We had a blast with Sauce. They were professionals and they were a pleasure to do business with. You will not be disappointed if you book Sauce for your event!

I recently attended a friend’s wedding in Austin and was blown away by this band. I was surprised when she told me that she booked that band site unseen (or unheard in this case). She trusted her wedding planner to make the decision and luckily, it worked out great. Sauce was awesome! They are some of the best performers I’ve seen. They have wonderful chemistry and you can tell they love what they do.
From old school Motown to ‘80s music and today’s hits, this band not only does it, but does it well! Seriously, they had the crowd on the dance floor all night long and their energy was incredible. They played a huge variety of artists/​songs, but some of my faves were Michael Jackson songs, Beastie Boys, Stevie Wonder, Outkast, and Black Eyed Peas. They have choreographed moves for almost every song they do, they include the crowd here and there, and their transitions from song to song are seamless.
