Scott & Company Residential Renovations

Heather and Jose have painted several rooms in both my previous home and my current home. The quality of their work, promptness, cleanliness and attention to detail are what keep them as my go to company for painting and trim work.

So happy I found these guys. Quick, reliable, affordable, respectful, flexible, and skilled. As with most jobs, ours took a little longer than expected (like a few days) — not an inordinate amount of time by any means, and it was worth the wait. Thanks Jose and team!

Wow!!! I cannot be more impressed with Jose, Jose Jr, Martin Sr, Martin Jr, Isidro and Heather. My wife and I are about to have our first child and we had a limited time to finish our last minute home renovations. Jose and his crew knocked down over 2000 square feet of old ceiling popcorn texture, retextured, and painted within the span of a week. They even fixed the textured ceilings that I did; I thought they were great, but after seeing the corrections made the difference was astounding and I am very happy they corrected my job. We were able to stay home while they were working around us, except for two of the days. Great guys, super nice, respectful and attentive to our requests. I cannot wait to hire these guys again. I highly recommend Jose and crew for any remodeling job. Jose does not shy away from perfection, he will go many extra miles to make sure that the job is done correctly. There was a point in the middle of the renovation in which I thought the job was done correctly but Jose insisted he needed to perfect it. He loves his job and it shows! OMG, I only wish more contractors were like him. I hope I never have to hire anyone else for any other renovations. Well done Maestro.

Heather and team were great. I hired them to paint my cabinets and they did an excellent job. Its an expensive project and after a lot of research I went with Scott and Company.
Heather was very detailed and helped me select the correct paint color for my house. They also finished the project in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend them for cabinet repainting or refinishing

Heather and Jose are a real dream team. I can’t say enough good things about them but I’ll try to write some things here. Bottom line is that we had a great time working with them throughout the project and the end result was better than expected (and we expected a lot) at a very reasonable cost.
The project was to re-​design the interiors of a house that we had just purchased. The house was built ~25 years ago and looked very outdated. So we called in a number of contractors to give us a quote and let us know what they would recommend we do and we are so glad we decided to go with Scott & Company.
Here is a list of the main things why we like Heather and Jose so much:
— They are very professional which was apparent right off the bat. Their quote came with all the details about what is included and what work will be done for each component. So there is no guessing or worrying about if they will try to add things later or claim that something wasn’t included in the initial quote and now the cost will go up. None of that drama happened. They laid out the details of what they were going to do for each door frame and cabinet and wall etc. and how much each piece will cost. That gave me a lot of peace of mind already.
— Heather has a great eye for colors and design so that the end result came out amazing. We did not have to regret our color choices at any point. We were trying to change the look of the house significantly so this wasn’t a simple project. Heater helped us pick some colors that we would not have thought of and It turned out even better than we had expected. We now have an amazing, brand new looking house thanks to Scott & Company.
— They promise a lot and they exceed their promises. They initially said it would take 2 weeks to do all the work. After that, we added several items to their scope during the project such as replacing all doors and associated hardware in the house. They also recommended some changes such as staining the handrails of the staircase instead of painting as we had initially thought and the stain was such an upgrade. Glad they brought it up and we’re glad we went for it. And by the way they did it for the cost of materials since it wasn’t something we had asked for. They simply just wanted to make sure that the end result is near perfection. That seems to be how Heather and Jose do their business. So in the end they still finished all the work in two weeks even with all the additions besides some minor touch ups.
— They have such an attention to detail. I’m pretty perfectionist myself and I thought I would have to ask them to fix little things here and there that I had noticed. When I came back after Heather had walked through the house she had already pointed out every one of the things I thought nobody else would notice but I still wanted fixed. So it was all taken care of without me having to point it out. They really strive to achieve near perfection with their work and will not leave the job until it is at a near perfection state.
I could go on but I’ll stop here. We will always call Scott & Company for any further work we need to do in the house. Great people to work with, reasonable rates, amazing end results… I don’t see how it could get much better.

Scott & Company has completed several projects on my house over the past 8 years, including interior and exterior painting, tile work, wallpaper removal, exterior door replacement, and tub and shower work. Heather and Jose take direction well and complete projects on time and within budget. They are trustworthy and fun to work with. I highly recommend Scott & Company!

I have used Heather and Jose for about 10 years for the houses we live in plus my rehabs or rentals. They have always done a wonderful job at a fair price. I have had nothing but positive feedback from anyone that I have recommended them to.
Heather is great with color! I had a kitchen painted a few years ago that I had painted a color that I wasn’t happy with after it was done, so Heather came over and added some glaze… looked fabulous and I think it helped sell the house.
