I will write a more sufficient review when I can upload photos from my old phone, but here’s a little information. I lived there a year and it was the worst experience of my life. Ultimately, I had to move out early because my unit was almost completely flooded and most of my furniture was sitting in water. They did not offer me an alternate unit, nor a hotel for the 9 days that I was unable to stay in the unit. They cut holes in the wall to find out where the leak came from. During that time, I noticed what looked like mold in the walls. My concerns were disregarded and they patched the walls the next day. I was told that the apartment was safe to live in, even though it was still terribly humid and the stench was too much to bare. I had a month left on my lease and only wanted them to agree that I could walk away and get my money back for the days I was unable to stay in the unit. They did not refund me and I had to pay for a full month that I wasn’t in the unit. I ended up having to throw away my mattress and my couch, due to damages from the flood. I will be following up with a more detailed review at a later date. If you’re thinking this is an isolated incident, I can assure you, it’s not. I’ve spoken with other residents who have had similar things happen to them. There were also many days in the summer that our AC would go out and it would be a day or two before it was fixed. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a newer complex. This place is falling apart and they don’t give a damn about their residents! One star is given only because it won’t let you continue until you choose a rating.

Negligent. Read the apartment rating reviews, as they are far more accurate. I am not even going to begin to describe our maintenance issues, but I will say it is a problem with the foundation that causes severe flooding each time it rains which recently was quite a bit, and it has been going on since day 1. There is no reasonable resolution in sight. Luckily our lease is up in September. That being said, this is not a problem with Jennifer the new manager or Ralph the maintenance man, but Churchill Forge Property management. The staff we work with has been very helpful, but we can’t get cooperation from the higher ranks. Their plan was to put us in a smaller unit that we do not like because they simply can’t fix the problem in any reasonable amount of time. We asked to transfer to a different property, and that is just not an option. We have carpet cleaning company in our house every week it seems. They even make jokes asking if they can move in with us. It has been a nightmare, and there is no compensation for our inconveniences, and the sad thing is we are not the only apartment that floods, and when we leave they will just move some other poor schmuck in and the cycle will repeat. Beware F101.
