I was so lucky to have found Skin Spa! Lucy was able to schedule me for an «Express Facial» appointment the very next day! At the last minute before a trip, I just felt like my skin needed a needed «lift.»
When I walked into to the small suite that is Skin Spa (lots of pink, so I blended right in — hehe) I was greeted by the very bubbly, lovely Lucy. Introductions, lay on the table, and then she began to work her magic.
I have had a lot of facials from a lot of different people. Everyone uses different products and techniques. Lucy uses the most wonderful smelling and effective natural products (Vitamin C, pumpkin, oils, etc.). Her technique… is…well…different than anything I’ve ever experienced before. At first I was very taken back, and quite honestly not really enjoying, her «human car wash» method. :) Lucy stated she employs a more «European» technique (she has Italian heritage) in that she really likes to «message» the products into the skin for more effectiveness. Now, when I say «message» don’t think gentle soothing, soft touch — think more jiggle. jiggle, smoosh, smoosh, squeeze, squeeze… almost comical! As Lucy continued her «process» and as we chatted (super friendly by the way) I actually began to enjoy my «deep tissue» face massage.
For an «express,» she was very thorough in addressing my personal skin needs. Several different products and masks were used. I left feeling very refreshed and wanted to eat my own face because of the lingering yummy smell of pumpkin… and all for $ 35 (don’t forget to tip). The bargain of the century!
All I know is that when I woke up the next day my skin was glowing and my fine lines were noticeably smaller. I can’t comment on Lucy’s other services. But, by far the best «Express Facial» I’ have ever received! Thanks lady!

I really wish I could have said something wonderful like all these other ladies but unfortunately I can not. Maybe she has built her so well clientele that she is not exactly hurting for newbies. I made my appointment and was told I would get a text or phone call well three p.m. the day before nothing. So I called and had the absolute worst customer service! I was confirming my appointment, she says and I quote «I told you I would confirm with a text or phone call», I said «yes, but I have not received anything from you so I wanted to confirm». Lucy then says to me «Well I told you I would do it and I usually do this after five the day before»; okay… «you did not specify what time you would do this, I did not know it would be so late». She was so rude the tone in her voice was awful! The worst customer service! I am bummed, I was so looking forward to this! I refuse to hand money to someone that rude!

Lucy is great. She makes waxing almost fun. Just had a Brazilian today and it went so fast, I couldn’t believe it. I love her «bedside’ manner and how easy she makes everything. The office is small and cozy, which is nice and relaxing. I would totally recommend her services to anyone.

Lucy is the real deal! She is brillant at her job and you can’t beat the price!!! I have always had trouble with my skin until i met Lucy, she took the time to go through all the ingrediants of everything i put on my skin and then formulate the perfect face régime for me, my skin looks AMAZING!!! I have never had anyone really care this much and it shows. I am forever grateful and will be a client for life!!! Thank you Lucy!

Wonderful, private, professional and inviting. This is a hidden gem. Lucy is so warm and friendly. She is a «brazilian specialist» in the truest sense. I will never go anywhere else. She talks you through every step and puts the client at ease. The products she uses are gentle and smell wonderful. Lots of options for facials, most recently I chose the Deep Pore Cleanse to prepare for my wedding.

Hidden gem! Awesome esthetician in this pretty in pink place! Went for the full brazilian, i was a little freaked out but i love new experiences. She made little jokes & explained every step of the process. Her card says «brazilian specialist» and I’d have to agree. All the waxing was done in small sections and pulled quickly, then she applied pressure to the area to ease the sting. She uses premium quality wax thats nicer to your skin and her services are a ridiculously good deal. Its been a week and half and Im still baby smooth:)

Lucy was great! She was as relaxed and comfortable doing my brazilian as if she was doing a pedicure. Her pricing is awesome and it is a very nice drive out to her place. I will return!

So, in the quest to find a reputable bikini waxer because I’ve never had it done, a friend of mine recommended Lucy at Skin Spa Lakeway. I contacted her and booking an appointment was a breeze. She even sent a reminder text which was nice. She works by appointment only, which was much better than going to a big crazy salon where there were tons of people around. She was professional, put my bashfulness at ease, and even though it wasn’t completely pain free, it wasn’t terribly bad either. Her place was very clean, she used sterilized tweezers, and doesn’t double dip in the wax or moisturizer. The best part was the price! For first time clients a brazilian is $ 20! Crazy low price & great service! She also does facials which my friend said were amazing, so I might go see her for that as well in the future.

Lucy is INCREDIBLE! Her rates are unbelievable — but that’s not the most impressive part. She really takes the time to get to know you and customizes her facials to your skin type. She’s not just trying to push a package like other spas do. I’ve also been to Lucy for several waxes and eyebrow tinting. The waxes were painless and the tint lasted longer than any others I’ve had before. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lucy!

This is the best spa experience I have ever had! Every woman who’s ever had one knows how incredibly important it is to have a experienced tech administer one’s Brazilian wax. Lucy is exceptional. She is attentive and sensitive to her client’s privacy and comfort. I’ll never go to anyone but Lucy for my Brazilian again! My only tip is to call first to make an appointment since her private salon is by appointment only.
