Sonic Drive-In

Came here on Halloween for a waffle cone. They were ‘out of ice cream’.
I didn’t realize they sold anything besides ice cream until that moment.

Just tried to get food. Waited 20 minutes with no response to pressing the button. Moved to another stall. Waited 5 minutes. Went to another stall and pressed the button, nothing. Its 10:15 pm. Why cant i get served? I watched 7 cars drive away

They serve the same menu as the rest, they have the «fancy» new digital ordering/​payment system, and generally the food is consistent with other locations. The problem I have is the wait – specifically for cold-​sensitive items. The last half dozen times I’ve been, they’ve waited longer and longer before bringing out our shakes/​ice cream/​etc, leaving things partially melted.
If the speed/​quality of food by the time it reaches us matched the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, I’d give this location a 5.

sonic is by far one of my favorite fast food restaurants. my experience with this sonic has been ok. the food is always great as usual, but a few times we get home and there’s something that they forgot or left off a specially ordered burger. i’m not one to complain, so we never go back or call them and try and get something for free. however, the last time we were there, the entire order was messed up. it was a $ 26 order and when we got home, the only thing correct was the coke. so this time, i did call in. they were nice about it and said to save the receipt and next time i go in, i would get this ENTIRE order for free. well, we weren’t able to go back for over a month so i was a little worried that they wouldn’t honor what they said. but when i went in, the manager, Kevin Ortiz, was very helpful and very nice. he personally came out to my car to resolve the issue and he personally bagged the food and brought it out to me. i was very appreciative of this and he assured me that they are trying their best to eliminate all issues with messed up orders. which is very good to know because i love sonic!

This place is great. They accommodated us for being vegetarian and gave us a complimentary limeade! Whaaaat??? My night has been made! Thanks guys:)
Would appreciate some skates though:)

Seriously… a Sonic that closes at 11pm and doesn’t have car hops on skates is no Sonic at all.
