The good: I have extra copies of my books — but that’s only because of a mistake(see below). Don’t blame the front desk guys, they tried.(this is why they are getting 2 stars, not 1) Perfect binding is inexpensive. They have a free business card promotion if you’re a TA. The bad: Phone manners: They failed miserably at leaving phone messages. When I called to check on my order at 11:40am on a Saturday, a guy answered the phone with«Speedway copy.» Me: «I’m calling to check on my order» Him: We’re not open, call back at noon.” Phone clicks. Really? You are a customer service oriented business. If you are going to be rude and tell people to call back, just don’t answer the phone till noon! *From what I’ve been told, the person I spoke to was likely the manager. Proofs: If at first you don’t succeed(which they didn’t) try, try again. Order time: When I placed my order I was quoted 1 week. 2 weeks later I still did not have my books. Following directions: My books are ready. I go pick them up. And they are WRONG. Somehow they are printed double sided even though the sheet says print single sided AND they called to confirm this. Somehow this is fixed overnight(why did it take 2 weeks the first time?!). — Overall: The prices are reasonable, the customer service is not. Since there are at least 2 other copy shops in the university area that charge the same prices, I’d recommend you go elsewhere to get your dissertation/thesis printed.
