FYI: This doctor has been officially reprimanded and fined $ 1000 by the State Board of Dental Examiners Case # SBDE02−588−0430. The findings included a citation for failing to diagnose 5 teeth over a two year period and failure to keep adequate records. He was also ordered to complete 16 hours of continuing dental ed. For those of you who think it’s so great that he doesn’t sell you ‘unneeded’ procedures, think again. I spent thousands of dollars on root canals & crowns for the five teeth that he failed to fill in a timely manner.

If you want an «old school» dental professional, Dr. Speir is for you. Simple basic office in an old houses with friednly and very efficient staff that makes every visit a pleasant experience. Teeth get cleaned, x-rays and he explains what is right and wrong. NEVER plays the«upsell» game that nearly all the«newer» dental places try to pull.

I have gone to dr. Speir for years. He is very professional, fully explains what he is going to do and is totally painless. Best of all, he has saved me money over the years by not up selling expensive procedures when I did not have dental insurance to help. Instead he will do less expensive repairs that work great. I highly recommend him and his great staff. Btw, his prices are lower overall than any others I have compared to.

My whole family goes to Dr. Speir. He is so honest and trustworthy and his staff is great. I came here with my own money after being told I needed all this dental work from Longhorn Dental, where they refused to clean my teeth unless I agreed to all their procedures. Dr. Speir said I had no problems at all! I have been going there for two years now and have needed no dental work besides regular cleanings.
