After owning a couple homes and living in Austin for most of my life, I’ve finally found an HVAC person who is trustworthy, reliable, and competent. My furnace has had such a bad history; shortly after buying the house 5 years ago, I discovered a part that was going out (induced draft motor). The home warranty people wouldn’t replace until it completely died (I got rid of them instead). Then, I went to the «old standby» company I used to use (Strand), told them I didn’t have money for a new system, and yet they tried to sell me and scare me that soon I wouldn’t be able to get parts. Their estimate was twice the price Rick Spicer actually charged. He was completely honest and assured me if well maintained for my furnace could have years and years of life left in it. I learned a big lesson. Thanks Rick for the excellent service at a great price.

My A/​C went out on my birthday and I called Fox Services who had worked on the unit before; it was going to be almost 4 days before they could get to me! My brother-​in-​law gave me Rick Spicer’s information; I called him around 8 am, by 5 pm he had been to my house and fixed my A/​C. The total charges were LESS than what Fox would have charged for an emergency call that wouldn’t have included parts & labor. Rick is honest & knowledgeable, he shows up when he says & does what he promises… I couldn’t recommend him more highly!
