Love, love this place. The washing machines and laundromat are kept very clean, bathrooms are kept locked so you do not have to worry about rift raft coming through and ‘bathing’ in there. There’s wifi, plasma tv’s everywhere, it’s air conditioned, also bundle service available and they have the huge washers and dryers. It’s a little more expensive than some other laundromats, however, I like the convenience of using my debit card and not having to fool with quarters and making change. I recently renewed my lease where I do not have a washer and dryer connection as I prefer to come here and do all my laundry in one go.

Apparently, this place has come a long way since previous posts. All the(plentiful) machines are new and reasonably priced. Country Club Creek apts doesn’t maintain their facilities, so this place is a blessing. I usually read, but, there are almost a dozen televisions, with a variety of shows going. Plus, HEB is just across the lot to pick up a couple things while waiting…

I live in the neighborhood and always come here to do my laundry, since the washing machines at my complex don’t clean my clothes very well. They do have free wi-fi but it is really slow and sometimes the signal doesn’t work at all. $ 3 gets you a big front-loading commercial wash that will hold a king size comforter, or roughly 3 – 4 loads of what a typical top loader can handle. And they get your clothes cleaner. The facility is a little bit run-down. Most of the button panels on the machines have been destroyed or peeled off by customers, and never replaced. Most of the dryers give medium heat on the high setting. Some of the front loading washers have mechanical issues sometimes. On the upside, the washers use a liberal dose of water and rinse cycles, unlike some cheapskate laundromats that use water-saving mode. This ensures that your wash gets clean. I can’t imagine what their water bill is every month. The other day the front loader high speed spin was broken, so my clothes were soaking wet at the end of the wash. I complained to the manager on duty, who paid for another washer for me, no questions asked, no attitude. The worst part about this laundromat is that you can’t clean your hands after getting detergent and bleach all over your fingers. There is no hand soap anywhere, no sinks in the men’s bathroom, and the lone sink that is in the back of the laundromat is always disabled by the valve on the floor. That is just really weird.

Stay awayyyyyyy! It was very hot, stinky, dirty and too expensive for the pathetic excuses for washing machines. They get one star for having«Elf» on their single working tv. NEVER going back!

Went in on a wednesday after work, around 5pm. Still plenty of washers/dryers available, and prices are average– I’ll go back when I need to wash my huge comforter again!

Nothing fancy and usually filled with people, but there are always PLENTY of machines open and I didn’t have to wait for anything when I was there on a Sunday night. The change machine was reliable and the staff was sweeping throughout my time there, even if they weren’t the friendliest. This place was kept up and I definitely plan on returning. 3-load washers were $ 3 a piece and it was 25 cents per 8 minutes in the dryers(pretty comprable to other facilities). Also, they are open 6am-11:30pm so it accomodates many schedules. Nicely done, Spin Cycle!

I will never darken the door of this awful place again. I wish I could give less than one star. I walked into this place and glanced around. Seeing washers available, I grabbed the wheeled laundry basket set next to the door, so I could wheel my bag of laundry inside. Turns out, the hanger bar on the basket was too tall for the door… no big deal, I’ll carry the bag. I put the basket back, and stepped toward my car. From behind me, I heard the attendant behind the counter shout«You gotta get the little basket, DUMBASS!!» Unbelieving, I stopped in my tracks. I walked back inside and asked the attendant«What did you say to me?» He says, «You gotta get the little basket,» nice and reasonable, as if there were some chance I was still his customer. I responded, «You have to get the little basket, what?» He replied, «You gotta get the little basket NOTHIN’…» He said more words after that, but could it really matter what they were? After the attendant shouted, not just spoke, but YELLED insults at me out of his door, and made NO attempt to apologize, he lost my business. I hope he’s lost yours, too. I recommend the(unaffiliated) SpinCycle at 3501 Guadalupe instead. I am writing this post using their WiFi, and the attendant here has been welcoming, helpful, and polite. As for the Riverside SpinCycle, never again!

Let me be the first to say I hate doing laundry. I don’t like the time it takes to wash, dry then fold and iron clothes. Yes I do iron my own clothes. That being said I haven’t been to this laundramat in quite a few years. Recently though almost all the washers and dryers in my apartment complex laundramat have broken and management isn’t going to fix them anytime soon. I decided to go down the the street to the nearest clean looking one. and was pleasantly surprised. The place is clean and the staff regularly clean out the lint from the dryers, nice plasma screen tuned to univision. soda machines etc. If you go to the bathroom here take your own TP and hand soap. There is a sink to wash in but not in the bathroom. The time you go to wash is key in this place. I’m off in the middle of the week so I think that has a lot to do with the amount of free washers and dryers. The price isn’t bad 1 dollar for 27 minutes to wash and about 1 dollar fifty or so to dry. If you have the giganto loads you can use the industrial size washers which cost $ 4.75. My complex charges $ 1.25 to wash and dry but usually the machines old timey coin slot would get stuck and you’d lose your money. Save your money and go here if this is in your area and you have no alternative. I just put on my ipod and chilled and the time zipped by, clothes are good to go. Come here either early in the morning or early in the afternoon, not too late cause by 4 everybody getting off work starts coming in and the place gets crowded quick. All in all a decent experience, this will be my go to place for laundry from now on at least till I move to a better complex.

Laundry aside… these guys have Pinball. Pinball at this location: Attack From Mars(Williams 1995) Unfortunately, the pinball machine is a little jacked up. Sticky flippers.

I’ve never loved having to go somewhere to do laundry, but did get to know the people who worked here, and had a blast joining them on «coin patrol» — scouting out those people who come in, pretending like they’re doing laundry, and just wanting to get change and then bolt. We would run to the windows and copy their license plates(have no idea what they did with those numbers) and high five… it was a nice feeling of solidarity and helps pass the time. Cleanest place in the area, which is not saying a whole lot, but the woman who worked there was very affable and took pride in the establishment. Have had a lot of good conversations here. Could do a lot worse.

Your clothes get clean. But if your clothes ARE clean when you walk in, you might get some dirty looks. I don’t know if it was because I was the only person reading a book, the only one in my demographic(white, young woman, alone), or what else, but I felt eyes in the back, front and sides of my head(and on various other parts of my person) the entire time I was here. Intimidating to say the least. It was crowded like the front of the H-E-B down the road(express lanes? bah!) when I went at prime time on a Wednesday night. But like I said, my clothes got clean, eventually — it took almost two and a half hours to navigate the crowd, though. Go during the day — maybe your experience will be better than mine.
