I lost my phone on Saturday and went to this store to get a new one. It took forever but Ryan was really cool and entertained me and my friends. He asked his manager for help at some point and I thought the way he talked to him (esp in front of customers) was rude. I addressed it and he was actually kind of rude to me for pointing it out.
I went back today to return my phone for a different color today. I called up the store and spoke to Alejandro (manager) and drove ALL THE WAY BACK UP THERE for him to tell me they didn’t have it! Why didn’t he check, I was livid because this is the 3^rd sprint store I’ve been to since Saturday (the one on Mueller and Barbara Jordan has a separate review) he then proceeds to help me locate a store another store that has it even though the Barbara Jordan location had said the my couldn’t. He was being helpful but just pissed me off because he casually mentioned the review I gave him from my previous visit and thanked me for it. I felt like he was being smart about it so I didn’t respond. He tried to help me and I appreciate that but I really won’t be returning to this store.
Ryan is great if you decide to go this location.

Disclaimer: I don’t use Sprint; my girlfriend’s Sprint plan lets her upgrade her phone, and she wanted to come by and grab a new shiny Samsung Galaxy S6. I just came with her for moral support (and I would’ve been bored doing nothing otherwise).
I didn’t deal directly with them, but the customer support was pretty good. Almost predictably, my girlfriend bumped into some issues with some details with Sprint’s plan, so no new phone was obtained that day. However, the guy we talked to was really patient, professional, and helpful. He grabbed us by the hand (figuratively) and handled the majority of the technical side for us. He interpreted all the complicated details of her phone plan and the costs of doing this versus doing that without pressuring us to buy something on the spot. Most importantly, we had the power to make all the decisions with all the time we needed. In short, he was nice and comforting to work with. He didn’t have all the information drilled into his head, but he knew who to ask and got us the answer in no time.
The store itself isn’t that big with only one demo-​phone/​tablet available for each device. In terms of phone cases, there weren’t that many different brands available either. But while it was a pretty small store, it was convenient being close to campus and can offer more services than other Sprint stores nearby.
Despite it being downtown (across the street from Whole Foods), they have a parking lot dedicated to the complex of stores on that block so parking wasn’t a big deal. Maybe after the next time we pay them a visit, my girlfriend will have an upgraded phone with a better camera for taking Unilocal photos.

I have an LG G2 a great phone which I cracked yesterday and was desperate to get a replacement for I was excited to see this store was open on a sunday so i drove over around 12 when it opens. I got there around 1215 and the store wasnt open and no one was in the store, I called, no answer. I waited another 15 minutes still no sign of life in the store and the doors were locked, so we left. I was very disappointed and hope this doesnt happen regularly.

The store manager is great and highly entertaining. Even after a 13 hour day he was super helpful and kind.
Got a great deal on a new phone and a brand new case!

Still as terrible as ever

You know the feeling when you’ve been with someone for a long time — like 14 yrs — and in the beginning things were so peachy and great, you never thought you’d ever leave.
But as the time passed things gradually took a turn for the worse. They changed, got careless, ignorant, egotistical, and at times arrogant. They got too big, lost their focus on you, and were even rude and unprofessional at times and just didn’t seem to care anymore. You opt to stick w/​them but without any commitment or tie-​downs so it would be easy to leave anytime without any ramifications. You talked about leaving but the months turn into years and you never pulled the trigger. Then something sparks your motivation to find someone new and escalates your sense of urgency, but just when you’re ready to make the leap to greener pastures something happens that changes your mind and brings you back — erasing all the bad memories of the past. Well that something in this case was a Sprint Manager named Steve Menashe, he accomplished something I never thought would happen — — he won my loyalty back w/​Sprint and re-​earned my business.
The reason for this visit was to switch out phones, I’ve been here before with the same request. I was greeted by two young employees who were nice and showed them my 2007 Treo 755p — — they had blank stares in their eyes as they stared at it like it was an ancient fossil. «Wow, a QWERTY keyboard and stylus? Yes — but I love this phone and my old Sprint 2003 Free & Clear Plan will not support the new smartphones. They offered to introduce plans but I refused like I’ve done so many times in the past — — no way I will ever sign up w/​Sprint again. No offense, but I haven’t felt like a valued customer in over a decade.
They notify their manager for help and a man named Steve Menashe comes over to assist and greets me with a handshake. He’s energetic, polite, very professional and literally lights up when he sees my Treo — — «Wow I haven’t seen one of these in years but I know how to help you!». I watched as he diligently recanted the transfer process from his memory bank as he was eager to please and also trained his staff in parallel w/​clear and concise direction — I was very impressed. Afterwards we talked about my disenchanted feelings with Sprint and my intentions of leaving in lieu of upgrading. He responded: «Will you give me a chance to just walk you through our pricing and plans? We’re more than competitive and we’ve also been improving our network and customer service». Since he was great w/​my Treo and so very polite and helpful I took him up on his offer.
Steve patiently walked me through the plans in detail that fit my situation the best, including my estimated monthly bill. He showed me the smartphones w/​demonstrations and was able to point out the pros and cons to help isolate what was important for me. He was extremely knowledgeable and competent, and even drew a diagram on Sprint’s network capabilities to erase some of the concerns and stigmas I had about their network. The time passed and we soon realized it was after closing hours but Steve said «No worries! I love this stuff and I want to make sure you’re happy and delighted». Well Mission Accomplished. The decision had soon become clear, thanks to Steve’s quality service and competence I decided to go for it — sign me up, Siri here I come!
It was the most delightful and value-​added experience I’ve ever had w/​Sprint since I signed w/​them in 1999, I never thought in a million years that I would be back w/​Sprint. Steve made me feel like I was the only customer in the store, there was no rushing or impatience, and he exceeded my expectations. He went through everything on my account twice to ensure no mistakes or surprises would occur, and he even called and texted me the following week just to «check in» and see if I liked my i-​Phone 5 (HELL YEAH!) and needed any assistance. Every time I’ve texted him for something he responds immediate to assist me.
That’s customer service the old fashion way, and that’s World Class in my book!

An absolutely awful store. Horrible customer service, bad return policy, and no follow up. I purchased an accessory there, and got so much resistance on a return, that I had to go to Sprint corporate, to get my money back.
Of course I still got to keep my item, and get a credit for the amount, but with no thanks to this store. I live and work in the area, but will go well out of my way, to avoid these lazy, unhelpful folks. Run, don’t want from this place.

Back in October, my old AT&T iPhone 4 was starting to get slow and I was tired of the voice call quality, and decided it was time to jump ship. I called the store to see if they had the iPhone 5 in stock, and they did. I had them hold one for me until I arrived.
I got to the store and got switched to Sprint after being an AT&T customer for nearly 8 years. They got me set up on the iPhone 5 and ported my number from AT&T. It took about 45 minutes to do the whole process.
They were unable to help me pick a vanity number, prefix or suffix based. I initially wanted a new phone number, but since I could not pick which phone number I desired, I was content with porting my old number. Not sure if that is a limitation of them not being a corporate Sprint store, or just a general Sprint limitation.
The salesperson tried to upsell me on the iPhone setup service for an extra $ 20 or something, but having set up my iPhone on my own many times, I didn’t need that. My monthly service fee is about $ 80, which is $ 30 less than the comparable, but non-​unlimited, AT&T or Verizon plans.
I am now enjoying the iPhone 5 on Sprint’s unlimited LTE network, which is quickly filling in around the Austin area. Pretty soon, Sprint will be very competitive with AT&T and Verizon again. Sprint’s CDMA network voice call quality is also stellar compared to AT&T. I would recommend Sprint Store by Connectivity Source if you’re ready to jump ship from the David & Goliath networks.

The lady who worked with me was very helpful, informative, and pleasant. However, the phone service is not what Sprint claims it is. I live less than a mile from downtown, and I had no service. I help my phone up to a friend’s, who uses AT&T, and he had full service while I had none.
The other thing they don’t tell you is Sprint sells your information to other companies as soon as they have it. If you give them your number, you can expect to suddenly start getting solicitations calls you had forgotten even existed. And there’s almost no way to make it stop, ever. Bummer. The funny thing is that I ended up switching back to AT&T (despite the huge fees) because I have to have a working phone for business, so I was only with Sprint for about 6 days. That was 6 days too long.
