This Subway just landed on the do not visit list. I stopped in at 11 for lunch this morning to get a foot long Tuscan Chicken sub, seeing as it’s the sub of the month. First issue — no Italian herbs and cheese bread. No biggie, right? Then I have to wait for them to microwave the frozen chicken pieces. Then, no iced tea. «Just a minute,» they promise. After a few minutes, they ask for my cup. They return my cup with barely colored water they claim is iced tea. Undrinkable. I then dump it out to fill it with Barq’s root beer. Nope. No syrup in the fountain, producing some sort of barely tinged carbonated water. I finally settled on lemonade and settled on not returning. This location would really benefit from an on site manager who would remind the staff to take care of business rather than chatting and giggling amongst themselves.

Only reason I frequent here is because of the proximity to my job. If I forget to bring a lunch and I’m unable to leave because of my work load I will grab a bite here. Staff is unprofessional but service is quick. The food prep doesn’t look dirty from my side of the aisle, but then again do I really want to know what the floor looks like on the server’s side?

What can you say about Subway. Great bread, veggies are usually fresh, and they are everywhere. They also have surprisingly good soup — I like the broccoli cheese and the chicken and dumplings. As for sauce I like the southwest chipotle.

So it’s Subway right… we all know about Subway… well what makes this one different… the ability to help a ton of people quickly. Not only is there a drive thru window when you walk in there are two separate lines to the left and to the right to build your sandwich so the line goes super fast. You may be asking yourself who cares, why is this so important… well when you work in or near a medical center you’ll appreciate this fact as the thousands of people from these buildings descend upon your Subway. Food is still the same but the service is Awesome!

It’s a Subway. You know, the big ol’ sandwhich shop chain? Yeah. I’ve been to this Subway a few times for lunch. Yes, it is clean and within walking distance of the office. However, you better know what you want to order when you first make any eye contact with the individual asking you what kind of sandwhich you want. Even when there is no lunch rush, they try to rush you out of there– which has made me uncomfortable in the past. The line set-up in the space is somewhat awkward, but there is little to be done that could change that. There is some seating, which is generally kept clean. The soups are all right. However, just make sure you know what you want to order before you go over there. I’ve been pushed into a bleh sandwhich I had no desire to consume– where at other locations, I’m at least allowed to look at the menu options before confirming a sandwhich(especially when no other customers are in line!).

gross. just gross. the bread is always stale(I’m sorry but warming it up just makes it chewy… I’m not fooled by your tactics) the meat is processed and bland the vegetables are almost non-existant…lettuce tomato onions olives and peppers… seriously? no mushrooms, sprouts, spinach, to name a few the cheese is… well…standard. BUT I am ok with 1 star instead of 0… they have RANCH dressing. Ranch makes ANYTHING taste better… even a subway sandwich.

This is just a Subway. You know Subway. What can I write in a review that will make you go here or make you stay away? The good thing about this Subway is its location. If you work in that sort of north downtown area near the courthouse and capital this is a welcome, although hidden, gem. Again: it’s just Subway, and if you like that you’ll like knowing about this one, and if you don’t like Subway I don’t much blame you but you probably aren’t reading this. I kind of like their new-ish«Pizza»(in quotes because it is barely pizza). I kind of like their Veggie Delight. I kind of like their weird dried-not-baked cookies. Did I mention that it is very conveniently located?
