Sunglass Hut

No way this place has so many good reviews. I came here with my boyfriend on a whim to take a look at the stock available and this location has plenty of glasses/​brands to choose from. It’s too bad their staff was impatient and not customer focused.
We worked with a younger sales girl who pushed for us to purchase our glasses quickly, although the store was nearly empty. When we chose our glasses, one pair each, we noticed there was a promotion posted that applied to us. When we brought it up to the sales girl, she said she «didn’t realize they were doing that» despite the poster at the register and all over the store. When we asked to apply it to our order, she sighed and reluctantly re-​rang us up (together, versus separate orders). A little frustrating, but we had our glasses.
As I go to put on my new glasses on our way out of the parking lot, I noticed a pretty large chip in the lens of my glasses. It was impossible for the sales girl to NOT see the chip as she sprayed, cleaned, and packed up our glasses.
Needless to say, we didn’t waste anymore time here. We went straight to Barton Creek where we were taken care of with kindness immediately.

The employees were so nice and the place was really organized but their prices are crazy high! I ended up buying a pair of sunglasses at LensCrafters for $ 50 cheaper than the price at Sunglass Hut! Not only were they just this one pair but it was several pairs that I compared at the two locations. Take a deep breath and walk away! I know you want to get that pair of sunglasses that look perfect on you right now but try price shopping and you will find that these guys are super overpriced!

I purchased a pair of Persol sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut website, and found that they were slipping off my nose too easily.
I brought them to the nearest Sunglass Hut store, which is at the Domain, and found that the sales staff there were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They offered to fit the sunglasses for me, free of charge.
The sales lady assisting me seemed very knowledgeable about sunglasses and how to care for them. Within a few minutes, she had the sunglasses properly fitted to my face.
All this for that fact that she didn’t even ask for a receipt to verify that I did indeed purchase the sunglasses from them.
I easily give this store and its sale staff a 5-​star rating.

I walked into this Sunglass Hut with a friend today and thought maybe I would look at some new sunglasses while she drooled over the sunglasses that she wanted for her birthday — and put them on hold.
Well, I’m not sure how it happened but I walked out with a brand new pair of Maui Jim’s purple sunglasses. The manager showed me a ton of different options and understood what I was looking for. I wanted to try on pairs that were similar to my old sun glasses, but I needed something polarized if I was going to even think about upgrading.
After touring a lot of different sections in the store, he handed me a pair of black Maui Jim’s — not really what I was looking for, thicker frames than my old glasses but with similar shape and style. I spotted a purple pair in the same style and tried those on next — and it was all over. Before I knew it, I was at the cash register. Not only was I quickly and efficiently checked out — but many of the employees happened to be standing there, congratulating me on my purchase and telling me to try them on so they could see them on me and making me feel fantastic before I left the store. Seriously, I felt great and this was a great purchase.
I was a victim of great customer service — this store is a fantastic example of what a lot of other retail stores are missing. I don’t think I’ll be needed new sun glasses for a while but if I do, I already know where I’m going to make my next purchase. Thanks for everything!

I guess I need to put a star to write a review. These people are unreasonable (to date). I purchased a gift card for $ 200.00. They told me the person could not return it. I am trying to return it though. The person I was to gift this to does not want sunglasses. I gave them $ 200.00 from my bank card — which they can verify and I simply want my money back. No products have been exchanged that could have been damaged etc. I just want $ 200 transferred back to my card. Its a transfer of money from plastic to plastic. This policy is ridiculous and the people working the store Jan. 1 @ approx. 5 p.m. were rude and unsympathetic. I have purchased 4 or 5 pair of sunglasses there in the past and quite recently. Not again if this isn’t resolved.

It’s so hard to find a sunglasses store where people truly help you to find the perfect glasses for you. Well, I have to say they were a very nice, friendly and helpful staff. I ended up buying what I was looking for and I thanks the girls for it.

I am shocked at the level of customer service I received today. My Ray Ban’s had one of the rubber things on the sides fall off. I went into sunglass hut fully expecting them to do nothing about this since I am the one who lost the rubber thing. Instead, the lovely lady helping me not only found a replacement rubber thing, but wound up replacing my sunglasses for free after not being satisfied with how the rubber things were holding. She was beyond nice and made sure that my new sunglasses fit perfectly on the bridge of my nose and took the time to make multiple adjustments. This is definitely the place to purchase your sunglasses!
