We recently moved into a new home with our first swimming pool in the backyard. So it was a priority to get swim lessons for our 4 year old son. Drove our son once a week to swim classes for 3 months and saw little to no progress. Desperate to get him lessons, we located a private swim instructor who comes to the house after our little one arrives home from school. We were able to choose our days and times(as many as 3 lessons within the week) What a convenience for us! He took less then three sessions to warm up to her. Once he did you couldn’t get him out of the pool. Each lesson now he asks«When is Ms Ashley coming? «He is pumped and so excited to learn more. We are definitely going to use her next summer. He went from wearing a tube to swim to swimming all on his own without any swim gear to assist. Was afraid to place his head in the water and now we can’t get him to stop diving for toys! Love Ms Ashley O’Dell ! Would recommend her for anyone’s child.

We live in a home with a large pool in the back yard without a pool cover or pool fence here in Texas. As a result, a strong level of comfort in the water has always been a key priority for my husband and I with our two young children. When Olivia started working with our almost 3 year old son just three weeks ago, he certainly was«comfortable» in the water in terms of putting his head underwater and even diving for objects. What we were hoping to achieve, however, was stronger breathing skills where he could begin to swim independently for short periods of time and get safely to the side of the pool if he ventured out too far on his own. Through the right amount of kindness, firmness, and general competency at her skill, our son can now swim the entire long length of the pool with his newly learned breathing skills and even play underwater with his 6-year older sister unassisted. We, of course, watch him continuously but the peace of mind we now have knowing the level of proficiency he’s gained in the water with Olivia’s help is priceless. In addition, my son absolutely adores Olivia. He continually mentions how proud Olivia is of him and he’s even asked if she wants to have a sleepover in the hot tub which Olivia politely declined. We will miss Olivia greatly when she leaves but appreciate all she has done for our son in such a short period of time!

We recently moved into a home with a pool in the back yard, so swimming lessons were high on our priority list for our 4 yr old son. We were seeking out private instruction, since our son is on the autism spectrum, and we know his success depends upon his engagement in the lessons. Ashley has been absolutely wonderful in gaining his trust, building his confidence, and teaching him safety basics in and around the pool. With just a few lessons left in our package, we are going to miss Ashley around our family pool! Our son adores her, and is always excited when he finds out it’s a swimming lesson day! She has been very amenable to any suggestions/concerns we have had, and she’s provided just enough«stretch» for our son to learn and use new skills in the water. A great experience for our son, and so fun for us to watch our son become more comfortable in the water!

I was looking for a private swim instructor because I am learning to swim late in life. I found sunsational swim school and my instructor was Betty a very patient, warm and fantastic instructor. Betty is a very good instructor … I can swim now, free style, back stroke, and breast stroke. This is great for someone who didn’t like to put their head under water. Granted I won’t win any races, but she gave me the instruction and tools to be a competent swimmer now. I do recommend the company highly.
