Love supercuts! The service was fast and the hair stylist do an excellent job. My tip is to go earlier in the morning because the wait is significantly less(or nonexistent).

I’m giving this place four stars. The lady who cut my hair was mildly rude, but she did a good job, and was able to do it in literally five minutes. I was expecting to just get a blunt line, like the kind your mom gave you with the kitchen scissors growing up, then have someone at my school shatter it for me, but instead walked out with a soft line that was slightly graduated, which is awesome for my hair, since it’s coarse and thick. Thank you Supercuts!

Everyone who knows me knows that I do not have time to make a hair appointment. I used to use the location up off Tech Ridge but, didn’t feel like driving there so, I decided to stop in here. When I came in there was nobody in the waiting room but, both of the two hair stylists were working on other customers. I put my name on the list and waited. Finally after 30 minutes my name was called and a gentleman started to ask me what I wanted. He washed my hair and I normally look forward to the head massage and such but, it wasn’t that great. Then I showed him a picture that he half hazardly looked at and said ok I get it. I showed it to him a few more times during the cut because I just didn’t feel the cut going right. Women will understand what I mean by that. Then he blew me dry and showed it to me and I looked like a soccer mom after I just asked for a layered front angled bob. He seemed a little annoyed that I was so opinionated about my hair. He did what I asked and after me instructing him several times, it finally looked right. When I went to check out I had a gift card which I had used a portion of at the other location. The guy said well you have money left over and I said well the other location just put the balance on a new gift certificate. He said I don’t know how to do that and«tried» or pretended to try to call different locations, which nobody answered and then said sorry you will have to spend the balance. I was like um ok I guess I will get some products. It was $ 45.00 left and I ended up having to go over the balance to use the balance. I finally left making a mental note to not come back and with a bunch of products that I didn’t need and would have rather been able to get another haircut with the balance. Also, they didn’t sweep up the hair from the previous person before I sat in the chair. Either that person had a huge haircut or they didn’t sweep all day.

I got my hair washed and cut today, and now have horribly uneven hair. I asked for just 1 inch trimmed off the ends, all one length, and now one side is clearly shorter than the other.

$ 12 haircut for kids under 12. Yes! My little guy has a TON of hair and needs a trim every 4 – 6 weeks. The kid haircut places charge between $ 17 and $ 25 which is not reasonable for something I need to do once a month! We went in on Saturday at around 3pm and there was no wait. All three women who were working were very friendly and nice. The stylist who cut his hair was patient and took a few minutes to make friends with my son before starting to cut. 15 minutes later we were out of there for $ 15(with tip) with cleaned up hair! And then we went to HEB and there was a coupon for $ 2 off a kid’s haircut on the back of our receipt! I’ll be holding on to that :) Toddlers have to be able to sit in the chair on their own to get a cut here. My son is 14 months and did just fine. I was kneeling on the floor helping to distract him though!

I’ve been going there for a year or so. It’s a little out of my way but the people are always nice and friendly. I usually go when Clarissa, I think she’s the manager, is there because she’s the best.

Seriously the worst hair cut I’ve ever had the misfortune of getting in Austin. Went in for a simple trim and the guy completely ignored my requests and left me with a .25inch of bangs left and uneven hair lengths everywhere. Seemed like he was in a rush to get more people in/out the door and not servicing his clients. Complete waste of time/money.

This location is dirty and they barely speak English. The guy who cut my hair, literally screwed up my layers so bad that I called their corporate office. He also started styling my hair in some crazy 60’s flipped out style that was far from cute. Dude, I didn’t ask for that. I had to pay 35 dollars for a horrible haircut, horrible style and horrible service.

I had a simple blow dry and in the end the lady did a good job, but only because I made her finish. She tried to leave me with wet hair and considering all I was paying for was a blow out, that was unacceptable. I had to kill time between appointments and wanted my hair to look nice for dinner. The place was also kinda scummy in the back when I went to the bathroom. Also, the other two hair stylists there were talking about me in Spanish, completely unknowing that I am fluent. Nothing worse than disgruntled and rude employees.

Black Friday: They had a man on the corner of Burnet and Koening with a sign stating Supercuts had a special for highlights for $ 25. I called the store to get the information. I have very short hair and only need 4 – 6 foils. I was told it was $ 25 for 8 foils. Perfect. They told me I didn’t need an appointment. I went in about 20 minutes later(almost 2 hours before they closed). There was no customers in the store and they had bright pink flyers on the counter verifying the 8 foils for $ 25 highlight special for Black Friday. The woman who came to the counter told me she could do a front and crown highlight for *$ 40*. I told her I needed 6 foils or less, she repeated it would be $ 40. This is while her mouth was full of food and another lady was mumbling to her(not in English). I was told if I came back the next day they would be having a 30% off special, she thought. Ummm… no.

I’ve gotten my hair cut here for years, as has the spouse. We don’t usually need anything complicated — trims here and there, that kind of thing. I see the same friendly faces whenever I go there, the place is clean, they inquire about my kids, they do a very decent job cutting hair and they do it at a fair price. That’s pretty much what Supercuts is all about. The only reason I’m docking one star is that this Supercuts recently stopped running their $ 2 off coupon on the back of the receipts you get at the HEB next door.

Bad experience at this location. Attitude problem with the people cutting hair. The people working their all talking loudly to each other in spanish like this was one big inside running joke amongst themselves. If the goal is to go for 100% mexian american clientele, this location is on the right track. I’ve been getting my hair cut here for years, that’s over. Going to the one in the arboretum no one knows about or uses. ;) Btw, what’s with Supercuts making it impossible to give them feedback on their website? It’s just a store locator. So the local franchise owner gets me bitcing on Unilocal instead of telling him or her this feedback so they could change it before it goes up here?!
