So I’m not kidding when I say this place is so good. Being a vegan I can appreciate the fact that they have vegan tacos. Of course they are surrounded by other vegan truck(and they do sell non vegan tacos) but I don’t know of any other place that sells vegan tacos in Austin. The vegan Baja tacos are amazing. Try them with the corn tortillas

In contrast to the exaggerated negative reviews, I am going to write an exaggerated positive one. These tacos are SO good that I would actually consider going vegetarian as long as I could eat these every day. Sweet Potato Wedges with Avocado and HUMMUS which is of course the most beautifully versatile condiment ever bestowed upon humankind. Yum points= 1,000

The Vegan Baja Taco was amazing! The best vegan taco ever! The chipotle cream sauce was delicious, the avocado was fresh and the vegan protein was fried to protection with the cabbage giving the taco the right color and tasty crunch! Made with absolute vegan love by Hector! Yum!

Very delicious with several creative taco offerings. I’m somewhat puzzled by the few reviews below barely talk about the food rather complaining about service from a food truck. Maybe they should consider full service dining if they are looking for the customer experience. The service has always been exceptional for us. Conclusing: 1) Very delicious 2) Reasonably priced 3) Trailer park eatery BYOB 4) Several gluten free options 5) Healthy options

I had a terrible experience here. A coworker and I were coming to order tacos for a bunch of us at work to take back. The website had a pic of their open hours sign and it said 10. We tried to call to put our order in at 10:30 and no answer. We figured maybe they’re busy so we headed out to order when we got there. When we drove by, the opening hours seemed to have changed to 11. I called again to see maybe if they were in their prepping and I could go ahead and put my order in. The guy was at home and it would still be 15 min. He apologized and said if I came back tomorrow I would get a free taco. We decided to wait since we had other peoples orders too. When we finally got to order, there was no mention of of free taco he offered earlier for the inconvenience that he had not changed the time on his website. Besides that point though, I asked if we could do the Unilocal deal(check in and get 2 tacos for $ 6 instead of 4/taco). He said that he didn’t do that anymore. Which by the way this is a week later that I’m writing my review and the offer is still on Unilocal.Obviously he has a problem updating things on the computer. For the fact that we waited and ordered several tacos you think he could offer us some compensation. So to the food which is really what this is for. We ordered 5 Baja tacos and a few others. He was not sure he had enough fish. But lucky for us turns out he had exactly 5 fish. I guess he did not plan to sell more than 5 Baja tacos that day. Mind you we were the first customers of the day. As we waited one girl ordered a taco and he said he was out of hummus… also she was only a couple customers after us. Baja taco — fish was not fishy so thats a good thing. I had hoped the fish would be crispy but we did take it to go I guess. The cabbage was too thickly cut and seemed like it was trying to act as a filler. A few of my coworkers avocado slices on their tacos had brown. I also felt it needed some type of salsa or sauce for flavor. French Fries — A coworker ordered this to share. I think my pic shows it well but they were pretty undercooked soggy and definitely seemed like they were the frozen style. Frozen style isn’t what really gets me, I’m sure most places do pre frozen fries and they turn out nice and crispy. Mint Pico de Gallo and tortilla chips — another coworker had bought this to share. Definitely didn’t taste like mint and wasn’t really pico de gallo style. Ok flavor but was more like a salsa.

I was surprised to find out this place is not a vegan food truck since this location is known to be only vegan. They do have great vegan options though if that is what you are looking for. I had the Baja FryTaco & Cali Burrito. Baja was soso. Just what you would expect from a fish taco. The Cali Burrito is a MUSTTRY! If you’re coming with a light appetite then you can probably share the burrito.

Went to try this new place on one of the December 2013 cold nights: The employee was freezing to death. Never said hello, just opened the window with frustration. I ordered a bunch of things on the menu to sample with friends(as a first timer). Employee was getting frustrated that I was ordering so much. Huffing and puffing… I get ready to pay with a debit card. Employee gets even more frustrated, as he takes the case off his phone and literally throws it on the counter so he could plug in the payment machine. I take my debit card back, and tell the oh-so-frustrated-and-unhappy employee to not worry about it Taco ‘Bout Lazy Hipster…

This place is exactly what it should be: a cool, relaxed place to get yummy, interesting food(for not much). I’ve had the Holy Mole, the Baja Fry, the sweet potato avocado, and an awesome taco of the day that included whole, bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers. Every single thing was delicious. It’s part of a food trailer park, all trailers good and cool. There are even fun things to do while you wait for your food(hula hoops, dominoes, giant jenga, etc.).

Taco ‘Bout It I shall, cause those tacos are worthy of a shout. It’s the sauce baby! Whatever Hector is putting on the Baja Fry is fantastic, and the Cali Burrito should’ve been the one the last reviewer called the stoner’s choice because that thing is massive and reminds me of chowing down on a street corner back in so cal. The fusion selection is rad too, hit the pork bun, and tonight I had a jalapeño popper taco that should’ve won an award. The backyard ambience is killer too, good date spot.

The tacos are huge! and spicy! This was my first time here and I got great recommendations on what to try out. I got the fried chicken with chipotle and the pork pineapple. I really enjoyed my lunch today although one taco would of been enough. This place is great! im a new fan!

Visited Taco ‘Bout It on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint! Taco ’bout some good food… I ordered the pineapple pork which was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy with tender pieces of pork. The ancho sauce makes it pop and the entire combination was on point! I also tried the Baja Fry which is not your regular bland tilapia. Crisp cabbage, a heaping amount of avocado and the savory chipotle cream bring out the best of what otherwise is «tilapia». Both tacos hit the spot! Generous portions which really equate to 2 tacos per order at the moderate price of $ 3.75?! It was not something you would expect from a taco truck. Then again this isn’t your run of the mill food truck. Looking forward to trying other items from the menu!!! Do yourself a favor and try this place out! Take advantage of the beautiful weather post up on a patio table and bite into goodness…

Dude suggested the Cali Burrito, it paired excellently with a Woodchuck Granny Smith Hard Cider. I will definitely be back for the food, but also the chill location. Nice relaxed environment to sit and enjoy your food. I also want to try the Japanese Pancake trailer next door…

This is a pretty cool, newer trailer on North Loop right before it merges into the asphalt of Airport Boulevard. You might be tired of fusion tacos, but this is still worth a visit. I’ve had: — The Texican. Fried chicken and avocado, pretty good. — The Baja Fry. Tilapia and avocado, an excellent taco even with with Quality Seafood’s offerings looming just down the street. — The Pineapple Pork. Pork carnitas and pineapple with scallions, also pretty good. — The Kim Lee BBQ. Korean BBQ pork with kimchi and scallions, on 2 toasted Hawaiian sweet rolls. This was amazing, a perfect blend of sweetness from the rolls and savory from everything else. It was like the ultimate stoner food(not a bad consideration keeping in mind the neighborhood around it, especially considering that they apparently deliver nearby until 10pm most nights. Hmm…). Most tacos are $ 3.75, with the exception of the larger items like the Kim Lee, which is $ 5.75 and deserves every penny of its price tag. This trailer seems to prefer corn tortillas for the tacos, which is fine with me. Next time I’ll probably check out the Mexican Bun Dog, which puts sausage and bacon on the Hawaiian sweet rolls, and sounds too good to pass up.
