This place is OK. Average taco trailer. I find it way too salty. Yet I go here for 2 reasons. One, it’s never busy so I can grab tacos quick. 2 they are cheap Mexican taco trailer prices. Not super inflated gringo taco prices found all over central Austin now, think torchys. I like the chicken and the bistec. the campechana is pretty good too.

I’ve been here twice and it’s the best burrito I’ve had in austin. I’m a burrito guy and have no time to fuss with tacos while I’m driving and texting all my hipster sluts. Put all that crud in a roll and take it to the face.

Live down the street from this place and finally got the opportunity to check it out. Order 2 bistec tacos, priced at $ 2 a piece. A good, fair price. Nice table with umbrella to sit and eat, paper towels, plastic tray in which the tacos come. The owner is a super sweet lady too. The tacos themselves were delicious, hit the spot, and the sauces were excellent. I wish I knew how to make her green sauce… Also, the fresh-made tortillas are a great combination. I’m going to have to keep trying other items on the menu. Photos to come!

I’ve been eyeballing this place for about two months now, coming in off of 360 to Ben White going East towards Manchaca, I kept telling myself if only I had cash on me. Having the July 3rd off and a fresh 10 dollar bill in the wallet, today was my time fate has decided. Quick drive from the house, maybe 5 minutes. Showed up around 2:00PM and was greeted by a women in the window. She said they had been busy that day, however I was the only one at that time. Al Pastor being my go-to for lunch, I grabbed two to share along with one Barbacoa and a Tinga. Back at home, ripping open the brown bag I see two foil packs, one with the two Pastor and the other with the Barbacoa and Tinga. Two limes wrapped in foil which was nice, I hate it when the limes wet the brown bags and they break spilling your tacos onto the ground. One thing of green sauce, one thing of red sauce. First the Pastor, to no surprise it was good. Not the best I’ve had out of a cart, but better then most. But wait, there’s a surprise. Is that a hand made tortilla? If this was not hand made, where do I buy them? Moving onto the Barbacoa, this was actually better then the Pastor when I typically prefer the other way around. Last the Tinga. I’d never had Tinga at a cart before and this was by far my favorite. Slightly spicy, smokey, mmmm. As for the sauces, two was not enough. I could have used two of both the green and the red. The red was pretty typical and didnt leave an impression on me, though it might have been overshadowed by their excellent food. The green however was great, I like when the green sauce is viscous. For $ 8.75 it is hard to beat.
