Tammadge Market Research

This is one of my favorite ways to make side money. On average, I answer a few phone calls per month and get picked about once a year to come in and give my honest opinion about a number of products on the market, like electronics, makeup and internet stuff.
Tammadge always pays in cash right after the survery and it’s a delight to be picked for a study, if only because you know you’ll get a good amount of money for just being yourself. Granted, you have to be outgoing and willing to participate fully for an hour which can require introverts like me to talk more than they’re used to, but for the payout I’ll deal with it.
Free parking, free food sometimes and good money — what else can you ask for?

Easy money! Fed us pizza before the session, then paid us to drink a beer and talk about beer. Have done other studies with them but that one about the beer was by far the easiest and I got paid $ 100. Highly recommend if you need money, they email out survey monkey or similar surveys to your email to select candidates.

If you’re looking to make a QUICK buck or find some kind of easy income on a regular basis, Tammadge is definitely not what you’re looking for. I’d recommend selling your plasma, or perhaps a kidney if you can keep that on the down-​low. But if you’re like me and don’t mind making an extra $ 75 – 100 once in a while to do little more than express your brilliant and enlightening opinions, then you’ll like Tammadge.
Basically, you just put yourself on their mailing list and they’ll send you an email from time to time containing a survey. I’ve filled out surveys on all sorts of things… electronics, alcohol, even lemonade. If Tammadge thinks you’re a knowledgeable «subject» for whatever market research study they’re conducting, they’ll give you a call and screen you for the study in-​depth.
Some of screening questions are downright hilarious. Examples: «True or false: I consider myself a vivacious person who lives life to the fullest» or «If you could have a drink with any famous person, what would you drink and what would you talk about?» I’m not sure how all of the ridiculous questions pertain to the studies they conduct, but I’ve definitely had some very funny moments with the Tammadge phone screeners. Even they seem to have a hard time taking it seriously once in a while.
I’ve been selected for 2 studies in the past 3 or 4 months, so it’s definitely not something you can do to pay your rent. But it is easy and fun. Not to mention, the first time I went in, the group facilitator apparently never showed up, so I walked away after 10 minutes with $ 100 cash in my hand, having done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but show up. Easiest $ 100 I ever made. If you can call that «making.»

If you’re looking to earn a few extra bucks once in a while, then this place is great. They screen people for market research studies. You sign up to enter their database, and then they contact you when there’s a study for which you might qualify.
There’s the tricky part. They pay very well on an hourly basis, but it’s tough to make it through the screening process to be selected. You never know what they’re looking for.
If you are selected to participate, it’s worth it. You typically get paid $ 75 cash for a one hour study or $ 120-​$ 140 for a two hour study. They rarely last even that long. Some of them are rather interesting. I’ve done a few looking at ad campaigns for rum brands or testing the latest technology in cell phones. Others are painfully boring. They overbook and occasionally send someone home with full pay without even staying for the study.
I have friends who grew frustrated and gave up because they were never selected. The first step is to fill out an online survey and then they call you and ask a series of generally annoying questions. It’s possible to waste a bunch of time for no reward. You also can’t predict when there will be a study. Still, more than once I offered my opinion on new features for Dell for 45 minutes and walked away with $ 75. I won’t complain.
