I initially had some problems with these folks. I had purchased a heavy duty 100-gallon rain collection barrel from them(for about $ 500 with shipping) that came with a removable mesh-lined basket for keeping the water clean and the ‘skeeters out. After a few years in the weather, the plastic mesh screen predictably deteriorated and needed to be replaced. When I tried contacting the company through their online chat to purchase a replacement, I was put off by the rudeness of the person manning the line who told me the baskets were not listed by the manufacturer and did not offer any other solution. I was called a couple of days later by a different representative who said she had reviewed the chat text and wanted to call me to fix the problem ASAP. Long story short, they had the manufacturer send me TWO replacement baskets free of charge. I am very satisfied.

So I have been remiss in writing my update. After determining that there was a problem with the tank David at Plastic Mart contacted me to get my opinion of what could be done better in handling this situation. I told himd not to assume it is a UPS problem and have the Customer Service people investigate more. He then offered to send me a complimentary tank and proceeded to send a Diesel Gas Caddy free of charge. I have to say it is not always possible to avoid a problem but it is how you recover from them that counts. This company did a good job recovering from a problem.

good service, good prices, if they don’t have it they will get it to you there or shipped to washing ton state.
