Was really excited to come here but left feeling very frustrated. I was there for 30 minutes. For a to-go order! And then they got my drink wrong. I ordered a honey milk black tea, not exactly a complicated drink. The space itself looks nice and the employees were courteous. I appreciated that they checked back with me, after I ordered, when they realized they DID have the larger tapioca and could add it to my drink. However, that was one instance out of three in which I re-confirmed my drink order, and they still got it wrong several times before getting it right.(Update: The drink was shaken so there was foam at the top that made it look like there was milk. No milk. They still didn’t get my order right.) Overall, a negative experience.

I was able to get a fabulous no sugar added smoothie with peanut butter and banana! They were very helpful and willing to make what I needed. I’ve been off sugar for over a year and I love still being able to come here and get a special treat!

Love this place. My boyfriend and I call this our favorite little spot. The drinks, especially the frozen cappuccino, are deelish. During nice weather, we like to sit out back on the patio. This will always be our first go-to for tasty frozen drinks.

One of my favorite boba places! They are expanding very quickly, and now have three locations in Austin as well as some in Waco apparently. I love this place because it is clean first of all and the atmosphere is very relaxed and open. They have tons of board games you can choose and play from. In addition to the great atmosphere, they have tons of drinks, and tons of tea leaves you can choose from. I love that they have specialties according to seasons, and that they change up their menu from time to time. I ordered the cream tea with tapioca when I came here, mostly just because it is my go-to drink, but definitely try something new and ask them for their popular drinks, you will not be disappointed!

This place is alright if you are down with bland watered down tasting drinks. Also it’s always filled with the loudest group of college kids ever. There are honestly a lot better places you can go to.

Anytime I’m over at Southpark Meadows shopping, I try and stop by. It’s so refreshing. My favorite bubble tea place in Austin. The punch cards aren’t a bad deal either.

If you like bubble tea, you’ll like this place! I was very intimidated by the menu but the girls working were very knowledgeable and helped me figure out what I should get and suggested a very yummy new drink to try :-) The atmosphere was very laid back and I saw signs for board games and free wifi! so it would be a great place to meet with friends, relax and possibly study! Also had cute Halloween decorations up which made me smile!

There’s only been a few flukes I’ve had here, and it’s all been just from my own taste not preferring what they had there. My favorites are the cream teas with fruit flavoring. I never order with tapioca. I see it as somewhat as an obstacle from my drink. But I guess some people prefer that? I really need to order something different and explore but I end up ordering the usual ha ha

I love this place! When I moved to Austin, I always had trouble finding a consistent boba spot. This is it! Try the taro smoothie with pearls or Thai tea. The oreo cookie smoothie is great too!

This place is really, really great. 1. They pre-made their tea WITHOUT sweetener so you can order it however sweet you want it. This is a necessity for me as a type one diabetic. I just order it unsweetened and I’m happy. Not many places do this. 2. Really sweet staff. I asked for a drink to be re-made because they accidentally made it sweet and they remade it cheerfully. 3. Efficient WiFi and cool place to hang out. I hung out here for a couple hours today doing work and it was A+

A few years ago, my hubby developed a sensitivity to casein which is found in milk, cheese, basically any and all dairy items. So, he waved goodbye to ice cream, milk and cheese… that is, until we discovered Teapioca Lounge. Teapioca uses a non-dairy creamer in their smoothies and with flavors like chocolate, cookies & cream and chocolate mint, to name a few, my hubby’s love affair with«ice cream shakes» was renewed! Yes, these concoctions are technically smoothies, but they truly taste like ice cream shakes when ordered without pearls. My personal fave is a strawberry-banana smoothie WITH pearls. Be forewarned, though, the addition of pearls moves this smoothie past a mere treat into a tasty, and filling!, meal. The Lounge is always clean and, no matter how busy, they deliver your order quickly and efficiently. With free wi-fi, this lounge is definitely a joy!

I come here just as often as the one on Parmer and their service and quality is just as amazing.

This is my go-to place in Austin. Every time I drop by Austin, I head over to Tea Lounge. I used to stash up and buy an extra drink so I could drink it in the next morning. I love the milk tea with egg pudding. It’s basic, but so good! You can taste the tea and the sugar isn’t overpowering. I’ve also had the Thai tea and oreo cookie smoothie, and they’re both really good. Make sure to check in on Unilocal for a 15% discount off the entire order. I’ve calculated and that’s a better discount than the stamp card. Unfortunately when you use the Unilocal discount, they won’t give you a stamp on the stamp card. This is a nice open space to study, when there’s not too many people, and hang out with friends.

They have an insane amount of options. My favorites are the mango green tea with lychee jelly and taro smoothie with tapioca pearls. The staff is also friendly and quick.

This is my new obsession … and guess what … it’s south! Woohoo! Since the first time I discovered them in Southpark Meadows shopping center, every time since then I’ve had to stop in! It’s a cute little lounge spot on the inside. They have some comfortable furniture inside where groups of people can hang out, chill and play games or get on the internet. They do have free wifi here too! My first visit I played it safe and got the frozen strawberry banana with tapioca pearls. It was refreshing and delicious. Next I tried the frozen tropical matcha green tea and then the banana smoothie both with tapioca! Both were all equally as good and refreshing! I love the big fat straws and the chewiness of the tapioca every time! I didn’t realize how much I was needing a tapioca place south … It is perfect!

I needed a break from my usual tapioca place for the day and decided to make a morning trip out to Teapioca Lounge with a friend. First of all, the feel here is supposed to be hip and happenin’. I think the bright green walls, the high couches, and the flat-screen tv definitely adds to this. It’s certainly not a good place to study and I don’t particularly like the ambience, but it’s probably a good place to hang out and play board games. Second, their cream tea is pretty solid for the price and quantity, but nothing outstanding. They have about a thousand options of cream teas, slushes, and juices, as well as shaved ice, but I am always apt to judge a place by the quality of their milk tea. Though it’s a little on the sweet side — I ordered it with half sugar, and it was still pretty sweet — the cream was not too overwhelming and the taste of the tea was present, but not as strong as I would prefer. They didn’t have tapioca this morning, so I got it with baby tapioca and egg pudding — yum. My friend ordered the hot taro cream tea, and it was really creamy and delicious. Granted, it was made with taro powder and probably a lot of sugar, but it was still yummy, and the heat definitely balanced out the sweetness a bit. Teapioca Lounge is not wonderful, but it’s definitely a place to get a lot of milk tea for a good price — I ended up paying $ 6.77 for a large cream tea with pudding and baby tap as well as a relatively large hot taro cream tea.

Mmmehhhhh. I don’t really care for Teapioca Lounge, and it’s a little far from campus. My boyfriend and I got a coconut cream tea and a thai tea with boba. The boba was way too overcooked, a little stale, and super chewy. It was gross. My boyfriend hated it especially. The teas were aight. Honestly, this place tastes a lot like Teahouse in Houston, which I don’t care much for either. I do think this place is better than Coco’s Café and Tapioca House though not by much. But it’s a little out of my way in terms of convenience, so I don’t ever really go. It is probably, sadly, one of the better teahouses in Austin though(since Austin doesn’t have very many…) It’s a nice place to hang out with friends with board games and stuff! I would come back if I was in the neighborhood.

It’s possible that, while enjoying a Thai tea bubble tea and red bean bubble tea respectively, my lumberjack and I played Trivial Pursuit on premises and that, maybe accidentally, I took home 12 of those Trivial Pursuit cards and that, before bedtime the last two nights, we have learned great and wondrous things regarding Norway, West Side Story, and the US Presidents and that, for each correct answer, the respondent has received a small award. This is amazing, smooth bubble tea. His Thai tea with tapioca balls was delicious and light. I’m sorry about the cards; I’ll bring them back. I’m pretty sure I’ll bring them back.
