Came here to celebrate the bf’s birthday. We attended the private wine tasting and tour with Cooper. He was an awesome host, and answered all our questions and gave us a great background of wine in a fun, informative, and friendly way. It is clear that Cooper has a passion for wine and his business, and his enthusiasm and passion shined though. The wines were great-We bought two bottles to take home. Definitely recommend the private tour and tasting, and we will definitely be back again!

I recently visited The Austin Winery and my oh my was I surprised! I generally read reviews about a business before I go there to see if it would be worth a visit or not — naturally, reading the amazing reviews about this place, I went in with high expectations. The Austin Winery didn’t let me down. When I first tasted one of their red wines, a few words popped into my head: Spectacular, bewildering, astounding, stupefying, miraculous, marvelous, phenomenal, remarkable, breathtaking, stunning, astonishing, incomprehensible, and YUM. Ross and Cooper were both super friendly and extremely modest. My new favorite wine out there. And yes… I am currently on my 2nd glass of the«Work Horse» red wine as we speak. You guys rock.

Don’t let the exterior appearance fool you. When my wife and I pulled up we wondered if we were in the right place. Five minutes in you will forget that you are not at a «vineyard». Matt and Ross were both extremely informative and spent ample time explaining what went into each bottle. I am partial to reds so I will not comment on the whites. They have pinots that are light, medium and full bodied all of which were delicious. The welcome surprises were the Zinfandel and the quarter horse.

Real cute small winery in an industrial-ish part of Austin. Had a great time tasting wine with Matt and Cooper. Lots of fun, random conversations to be had. Even got to taste an un-bottles rosé, which I will be ordering to CA as soon as it’s bottled. I’ve tried my fair share of rosés in CA, it’s definitely the best I’ve had. Reasonably priced tastings considering other wineries offer less for more money. Would highly recommend checking them out if you’re visiting the Austin area, like myself.

Had a friend in town and we wanted to try some local wine and found this place — so happy we did! The guys who run it are super nice and know their stuff! The tasting is extremely reasonably priced for how much wine you get and you can always order extras glasses if you want more. All the wine I tried was delicious — even the reds which I’m not always a fan of! Definitely recommend that you try this place out if you’re looking for wine in Austin!

Had a great time here with a group of bachelorettes several weekends ago. The guys who run the place are super nice, fun and knowledgable. You will definitely get a buzz after the tastings and they offer wines by the glass too if you need more! I had initially expected the winery to be outdoors, but the tasting room we were in was inside. They have wines for sale and awesome candles that smell great! Overall a great experience!

My friends and I were visiting Austin and googled Austin Wineries and ended up here. We were so glad we did! We had a wonderful time tasting delicious wine. The owners were extremely friendly and knowledgeable! We chatted with them throughout our visit and one even drove us back to our hotel after our tour! That’s what you call incredible service! I would highly recommend you check this place out… you wont regret it!

Highly recommend !!! We were looking for a new winery in the Austin area to try when we were killing time before a Longhorn game. We were concerned when we saw that it was in a warehouse but saw the décor on the porch and decided to give it a try. Or far exceeded our expectations. They buy their grapes and make their wine. Reasonably priced and very good wine.

I loved this place! So did all my friends. Ross and his team were so friendly and helpful and easy to work with. I booked a private tasting for my birthday, and it was perfect! I don’t come to Austin that much, but will definitely be visiting again when I do.”

We loved our experience! I was looking for a nice spot for my sisters bachelorette lunch and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Ross and Cooper were so friendly and accommodating. They know their wine and we learned so much. Thank you for a great time. We will be back!

Would have loved to taste their wines however we arrived & the front door was by appointment only so beware of their posted hours, maybe call ahead. It was a bit out of our way to get to the location so we were quite disappointed.

We had friends in town and wanted to do a wine tasting somewhere, so we did a quick search and this one was the closest, so we decided to give it a shot. Pulling up, we thought the place was closed as it’s a bit difficult to spot. We walking in and were warmly greeted by Cooper. He is incredibly knowledgable and we really enjoyed learning about how they got into business, how they go about producing their wines, and even how he got into the industry. The wines that we tried were fantastic with the Pinot Gris, Gerwurztraminer, Old Vine Zin Fandel, and the Malbec. Only one of the six in our group was a Port fan, and he raved about it. Definitely worth the experience and highly recommend giving it a visit.

So many great things to say about The Austin Winery! I hosted a business party and was in the market for a good amount of wine. Since my business is local, I wanted to go with a local winery, and I am so happy I came across The Austin Winery. Great service. I contacted The Austin Winery and Ross got back to me same-day. When I visited, Matt and Cooper we polite and extremely knowledgeable. Their location is great for wine tastings. They even have wine barrels that are perfect for weddings and outdoor gatherings. And the wine? VERYGOOD. My favorite was the Work Horse. Excited to see The Austin Winery grow. Will definitely be booking my tasting soon!

The Austin Winery popped up on the radar for my wife and me a good while back, while out at happy hour. And a divine presentation of this growing company it was. Since they are still small, and on account of my wife and I living down the road, I have taken a number of friends to taste near closing time. And the staff always accommodates, even past rush hour. Ross, Cooper, Matt, and Tessa are rocking the wine industry. And I’m pretty certain they are all under 30 years old. Here’s how they are doing it: making wine(albeit, with decent grapes from California) that is suitable for snobs… obviously not seeking to knock their socks off. Yet allowing the affordability for the average joe(me) to: 1) throw grown up frat parties – we sent off a friend with a barrel at his good-bye 2) impress friends with«local wine» at a lower price point 3) buy into a club where I can brag to my friends I belong to something hip and young Take my recommendation: buy into the wine club while this operation is still growing. You get to see something grow. Kind of like a vine. Plus, you can head in for tastings with a little advance notice.

What a great find! Every wine we tried was excellent. Cooper is very informative and is able to relay his passion in the quality of wine he produces. We liked it so much, we became members on the spot. We will definitely be back.

These guys are great! They provided the wine for my wedding and handled serving the full bar. They are so easy to work with and all the wines they have are delicious. You can go out to the business location and do a wine tasting. They also have cute mini wine barrels that they can serve some of their wine from. You can personalize the front of the barrel and keep it as a memento. They were very professional the whole night, we ran out of ice, cups, liquor(which I was to provide just didn’t get enough). They sent one of their people out to get what we needed. I didn’t know of any of the issues until after the wedding. It was nice that they went above and beyond so we didn’t have to worry about anything. They also have a wine club that is worth joining!

This place is a fantastic addition to Austin. The guys running it could not be more friendly and fun. Knowledgable and willing to give tours at anytime. As an added bonus the wine is fantastic. My personal favorite is the Violet Crown. Their location is fantastic for hosting events but they will also come and serve at your own party. This is one of my favorite places in Austin and I wish them great success.

Ross and the entire Austin Winery team are so knowledgeable and amazing. They helped me select the perfect wines for my wedding reception in February. They were so helpful and did a great job of pairing the wines with the menu. Ross even delivered the wines to my office! They really take pride in their work and it shows through in their wines.

I love wine, and to be honest many times when I drink different types, it’s good, but not outstanding, but I still drink it. I can say with absolute certainty that EVERY single variety from the Austin Winery has been beyond delicious, flavorful, perfectly blended, and amazing! Literally have never had a kind I didn’t love!!! As far as the experience of visiting the winery, it really can’t be beat. Ross, Cooper, Matt and the team are BEYOND helpful. They are absolutely brimming with passion and knowledge over each aspect of the wine, where it comes from, how it was made and why. I feel like I am not only growing my own knowledge, but also supporting these talented and passionate folks. I love being out at the space, and getting to see the behind the scenes. I am also a huge fan of the wine club — delivered right to my door with exciting new blends to try each time! Could it get any better? I LOVE the Austin Winery, and am excited to continue to explore everything they’re creating!
