The Grove

I lived at The Grove for a year and really loved it! Their customer service is better than I’ve ever experienced. The staff at The Grove really go above and beyond to please their guests and I really appreciated that. The space itself is lush with greenery and very well maintained. I had a spacious one bedroom on the second floor that overlooked one of the courtyards — it was a very peaceful setting and I felt secluded away from the city life!

We renewed for another year because you simply CANNOT duplicate the experience that you get here! The staff really do care about the residents and their furry children. They are very welcoming and address any issues in a timely matter. The residents are awesome and friendly! This place is great if you have a family, whether you are young, old, single or not. This a diverse community and it is in a perfect location as you can get anywhere 5 – 15 mins including the airport. There are other complexes in the area that strive to look like the Grove but they have nothing on us! I’m a very happy resident coming from a hard to please NYer! I would be extremely disappointed if I had to live anywhere else!

I can’t possibly say enough good things about The Grove. I moved here a little over a year ago and spent the day with an apartment finder looking for a place to live. The Grove was the last place we went and when I walked into what is now my apartment, I instantly knew I had found my home.
The apartments have a great look and clean and modern updates, the community is filled with awesome amenities and is visually beautiful. The staff is constantly working on improving the already wonderful environment — every week it feels like there is a new surprise, whether it be new grills, fire pits or garden boxes.
The only thing that could possibly trump the physical space is the people. The staff is friendly and responsive, I’ve never had to wait more than a few hours to have a maintenance request filled and I have made the most amazing friends that live just steps away. If you are new to Austin and looking to meet people, this is the best possible place to live — I’ve talked to many people who live other places and no one has a community quite like ours. It’s truly what sets The Grove apart and I feel beyond lucky to live here!

I found the Grove through Unilocal,so I can only hope in some cosmetic, cyclical way, my review can help do the same for someone else. After transitioning back to Austin for a couple of years in LA, I definitely saw what everyone was talking about as far as the city’s changes BUT I found the pocket of the place that felt just like home.
The Grove is great because of the timely management/​maintenance, attention to detail, and what are usually showcased as additional amenities/​luxuries are just the norm here at the Grove. The dog park is fantastic, community garden is now better than ever, hammocks galore, perfect pool scene…
The people make it great — if you end up here, you will see what I mean!

My fiancé was offered a job in Austin days after our son was born, so we had our hands full when it came to moving halfway across the country in a matter of two months. Though we thought a house would better suit our family and two dogs, we kept coming back to all that The Grove had to offer. It was conveniently located near his job and most everything, and after checking out reviews, we thought this option made the best sense for our transition to Austin. We contacted management and signed a lease sight unseen. Best decision we ever made! David was extremely helpful in guiding our selection of which apartment, and when we visited a month later, we couldn’t stop congratulating ourselves. I mean, seriously, when can you ever select a place sight unseen and hit the jackpot?! Here’s what I can tell you about The Grove: they are always making improvements, are incredibly responsive for anything and everything, we have fun get togethers, and this is truly an incredible community. The dog park is great, and I have yet to meet anyone who isn’t a responsible owner. If you don’t clean up after your dog, don’t move here because nobody is a slacker and we all value what a great place this is. We’ve spent lots of time hanging out at the hammocks, walking through the community garden, and are regularly invited to join others who are cooking out. It’s a friendly, safe place and everyone looks out for one another. The grounds are always taken care of, the pool couldn’t be cleaner or nicer, and if we need anything repaired or looked at we have had someone here within a matter of hours. We love it so much here that it will take a pretty fantastic house to get us to move. I honestly can’t imagine having had a better transition to Austin and it’s absolutely the result of all the great staff and residents!

The Grove was the second best decision we ever made, right behind moving to Austin!
My boyfriend and I were living in SF for about 5 years when we decided we needed a change and Austin is what we decided on. We had narrowed our apartment choices down to 3 locations though Unilocal (we wanted to move site unseen) & what made us finally decided on the grove was that we didn’t know anyone in Austin and we were looking for more than a place to live, we were looking for a community.
Everyone from the staff to the other residence at the grove were so welcoming and friendly, it was everything we were hoping it would be. We made more friends in the in the first three months living at the grove than we did our entire 5 years in SF.
Me and my boyfriend’s goal was to find a home to buy and we actually found one a lot sooner than we expected and even though we were very excited about that we were sad to have to leave the grove… Luckily they are amazing and still let us stay in the grove family by inviting us to events, letting us join their bowling/​kickball leagues etc.
We are now trying to get all of our friends and family to move out to Austin and the Grove is the first place we send them to!

Been here for a little over a year and I really love it. The grounds are kept tidy, there are always nice improvements being made we can enjoy and the staff are very nice and responsive to concerns!

The management team on site, specifically, Dore, are the secret sauce to this place. Apartment is updated with gym and pool. The grounds are well cared for and the community is friendly. Two thumbs up!

An amazing apartment complex! The owners/​managers take such good care of this property. They’re constantly making improvements and maintenance is insanely prompt and thorough. The dog park is a fantastic perk (as are the community garden, hammocks, gym, and laundry rooms). Most apt complex pools are scary — the pool at the The Grove is pristinely clean, gigantic, and has tons of seating.
Most importantly, everyone — the staff, the neighbors — are super friendly and nice. So far it has been a pleasure living at the Grove!

I absolutely love this apartment complex. I’ve lived here for almost 3 years. I started out in the one bedroom and moved into the two bedroom after my first year. I was considering buying a house for a short period of time but I couldn’t imagine giving up such a great location so I decided to stay. You are within walking distance from the Greenbelt (Campbell’s Hole), Radio Coffee & Beer, Kerbey Lane, Soup Peddler & Torchy’s Tacos. My biggest struggle with living at the Grove is which grocery store to shop at. Central Market, Wheatsville, Sprouts, & Randalls are all within a 5 minute drive. If you have a dog, this is the place to be. The dog park isn’t only social hour for the dogs, but also the owners. There has even been an impromptu karaōke night out at the dog park & impromptu movie night in the garden. The dogs and the residents at the Grove are super friendly. Luckily I haven’t had to use them much, but maintenance staff is quick. The office staff is very helpful. Dore & Tyler are so sweet and they never complain that I get a package a day delivered to the office. Can’t say enough good things about this complex.

I’m going to give it 5 stars even though I haven’t moved in yet. So far I’m very impressed by the space and Tyler was very helpful and friendly. He answered all my questions and immediately replied to my email. Very excited about the community garden and huge dog park!

I could not imagine a better experience in an apartment complex! It at times feels like living in a little resort. Management and maintenance are top notch! They continue to improve on an already awesome environment! Fantastic pool, community garden, dog park, game areas, grills, hammocks, gym, planned social events, bikes, workspace and even the laundry rooms are nice… There are so many new high-​rise condos and what not in Austin but if you want a fantastic living experience and community environment (cool neighbors that you will actually meet and get to know) you should come to The Grove 78 704!!!

I have absolutely loved living here! The whole property is wonderful and the location is amazing. The management has gone above and beyond to help me when I have needed it and I couldn’t be more thankful. If I was staying in Austin I would definitely stay here. Great property and great people!

I love love love living at the Grove. The management is the best I’ve ever experienced — I signed my lease site unseen as I was moving from out of state and David, the apartment manager went out of his way to send me pictures from his phone of my unit and the property. They are really quick with service requests and genuinely care about the residents and they are the reason there is such a strong community. If you are looking for a great place to live in Austin, this is it!

The Grove is a great community. The residents are friendly, the staff is always available to help and the maintenance guys Riley and Josh are the bomb. My entire closet rack fell down one night so I put in a maintenance request on my way to work. When I got home it was completely fixed, they even hung up my clothes for me! These guys will go above and beyond to make your home comfortable.

Always clean and customer service was great. Not one single issue the entire time I lived there. I would highly recommend these apartments to a friend or anyone looking for a safe place to live. I was impressed with their maintenance. If they were coming out to do repairs they were always on time. The location is good if you live in the Austin area. It seems to be 5 minutes away from just about everything. Sorry I had to move but don’t worry I will refer everyone I know.

The Grove is wonderful. The staff is very friendly, personable, and always willing to help the residents and improve life at The Grove. It’s a beautiful community with nice residents and lots of cute dogs! With the pool, dog park, garden, free bike rentals, social gatherings and more… The Grove is not just a place to live, but a home. Highly recommended!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE living here! I visited at least 20 different apartments in Austin, and this is my favorite one! It has so much character, greenery, and artsy Austin charm. And the best thing of all is the MANAGEMENT. Tyler is the
, and everyone is so helpful and nice! If you put in a work order online, they fix it for you the next business day/​am! They’re really prompt and do a great job! They had painted my accent wall for me, and Tyler even helped me choose the colors. The paint job was perfect. A lot of apts I’ve seen and lived in have shoddy paint jobs. You can tell they really care and take care of the property and its tenants.
What drew me to this property was the «Austin-​y» feel – the graffiti on the walls, the lush green landscaping, the community garden and dog park, well-​maintained pool, and hammocks!
I feel really lucky to live here. :) My first apt in Austin, and I think I made a great choice. You will, too!

My wife and I moved into these apartments last year and I’m glad to say we had many great moments in our apartment. I proposed, she said yes, I made deer jerky. All in all a great ten months.
Ten months? Aren’t leases for a year, you ask? Normally, yes, but The Grove has a house buyers condition that lets you end your lease early if you’ve bought a home. This was amazing to us as we expected to have to pay for two places for the remainder of the lease.
We are both pretty big home bodies for the most part, but it was tempting to go to the tie-​dye party they had right before we left. This complex will make you feel at home and the amenities are great. The two laundry rooms are nice and spacious and unless you’re doing your wash at a busy time, Sunday afternoon, you’ll have no problem getting all your wash done in one go.
The neighbor’s were great and never very loud. The only issue we had was people not cleaning up after their dogs, but it seems you can’t get people anywhere to that. The Grove is even awesome enough to provide baggies and cans for all the pet owners.
If you’re looking for a place close enough to the city to have access to it, aka the 3 bus that stops right at the front of the complex, but far enough away that you don’t have to fight traffic whenever you want to get a soda or beer then you should check out The Grove.
