The HT Group is a great recruiting and staffing firm and they truly care about their candidates. They work very hard to find the right fit and take the time to really prepare you for the interview and now just make you feel like they’re trying to hurry up and get paid. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a job or any companies looking to hire!

I was a recent grad looking for a job for 6+ months. After I found The HT Group, Krystal Mathews set me up with a few contract jobs until she could find me something more suitable. It took about 4 months for her to find me a job that I love, but it worked out great! I started as a part-​time temp and have just recently been promoted to full-​time within the company! I’m so relieved I used this agency and would recommend it to anyone in need of a job! And it definitely helps that Krystal is extremely nice and very helpful all the time!

Such a pleasant experience with this search firm. I’ve had trouble with agencies in the past so I was skeptical but the recruiters I spoke to were professional and kept me in the loop throughout the hiring process. After 2 phone interviews I got placed with a local startup and will be moving to Austin! Yay! Thank you HT Group!

I reached out to HT Group (via email and phone) and was told someone would get back to me. I followed up and have yet to hear back from them. Poor service to potential candidate with HR/​Office Management experience, who was looking forward to quality work. Look at other agencies who will deliver on their word of getting back to you.

I had called them regularly for several years and they never have anything. Did visit once and the lady I met with was no longer there when I called again. They advertise heavily with so called «positions», which I suspect are just bogus jobs to get people to come in so that they can build a data base for jobs that are not real, but might be in a few years or most likely not. They are bad news.

As soon as I heard that Chrystal Long was the recruiter for a position that a friend thought I might be interested in, I immediately knew I’d be in good hands. I’ve worked with Chrystal and have had a deep respect for her skills for about 13 years now. I knew that Chrystal would be able to know if I was a good fit for the company and if the company was right for me. Most recruiters try to sell you the company and try to sell you to the company, regardless of whether or not the two are actually right for one another. Not Chrystal. With her high standard for excellence and follow through, to her field knowledge, you are in good hands when working with her!

HT group did a great job reaching out to me and responding to my profile & resume, within 48 hours I got a call from Crystal Long who asked me to come in for an in person interview.
That same day crystal introduced me to two other recruiters who I had the chance to interview with as well (Joel Torres & Krystal Mattews) for different job orders in their pipeline.
HT GROUP went over and above in helping me to find a professional opportunity fast! Got back to work in less than 1 week after I met with them!

This is more of a warning for any company or person looking for a job that is considering working with them. Do not waste your time. Job seekers, they are competing with a bunch of other staffing firms and advertising the same positions because they do not have any meaningful relationships with employers. They also do not have any meaningful relationships with job seekers because they use extremely outdated hiring practices and leave scripted voice mails to candidates after not hearing from them in months. The other day I got two voice mails in the span of ten minutes that were word for the word same.

Can’t get a return phone call to save my life. Found employment on my own. I have 4 friends moving to town and would not recommend HT to them. Sad since I was recommended to HT from a recruiter in California. So unprofessional.

Don’t waste your time. 2 months ago I applied for a position that the HT Group had posted. I was called for an interview and given a link to an online test for Microsoft Word to take before the interview. I arrived the day of the interview and met with Chrystal. She seemed positive stating that I had a lot of good qualifications, I had done well on the test, and that I presented myself well. She gave me her card and I was instructed to email her weekly to keep me «fresh» in her mind, and when a position came up she’d contact me. I’ve been emailing for 2 months and the only response I’ve gotten is some weeks she replies with just «Thanks». The last 2 weeks I’ve sent her emails with questions, and my emails were ignored. Needless to say, I will no longer send emails. If you’re looking for work in Austin skip this agency.

I find the previous positive reviews to be suspicious, most likely planted by their employees/​owner. Despite my having an excellent and diverse background they have done nothing in helping me find work. I met with one of their reps years ago and despite calls and keeping them informed, not one iota of work or interview. I do much better on my own.
I have never met anyone who worked through them either. They are a waste of time.

It was my first job trough a staff agency and it was really good. The staff is really helpful, always the payments were always on time and they will help you if you are a good worker. I started in a temporary position and right now I got a full-​time position with the company they connected me with. I’m very grateful that I came to the HT Group.

HT Staffing Group is amazing at what they do. They have a large list of clients and cater to people on all skill levels. Chrystal Long was my assigned recruiter, and she was absolutely amazing. We had an open line of communication and was able to set me up with several interviews and job opportunities. I have worked with HT Staffing for a little over 2 & ½ years now. I was introducted to HT as a new resident of Austin, looking for an HR job. They placed me at a company in an HR role. I worked for the company for 6 months as a temp, then they offered me a full-​time position. In my job, I have been lucky enough to continue working with HT, as our primary staffing agency. Ashley Martinez from HT was an on-​site rep for us for a while. Ashley always does an awesome job! She’s great at finding us qualified candidates for our open positions!!! This is my first experience with a temp staffing agency. I was at one of those points in life where you apply for anything and everything, typing «temp agency» into Google and shooting off your resume to each and every one down the list. I had gotten quite used to sending my resume into the black hole abyss that is the Internet. This time, however, I was shocked to receive a phone call within 5 minutes! The recruiter, Ashley Martinez, was very professional and informative about the job placement. I scheduled an interview to meet that following Monday.
The interview took place in a large conference room. My interview was one on one with Ashley, so the room felt a bit large. The interview went as they do, and she mainly asked questions regarding my previous work experience. She then explained how the temp agency works, and very enthusiastically explained the work environment and job detail. Her professionalism and energy was on max the whole time.
I am very excited and optimistic about working with HT staffing. A very good first impression, indeed.

I have nothing but great things to say about HT Staffing. This is my first experience with a staffing agency. From the moment I walked into HT Staffing I received 5 star service particularly from Chrystal.
When I went in to meet with Chrystal, we went over my skills, experience, and my work place preferences as well as my goals and where i saw myself in a few years. After talking with her, she ended up giving me not only a sense of confidence in my skills but helped me discover exactly what I was looking for in the «perfect job.»
