The Official Drink of Austin

You don’t like tasting drinks by Austin’s best mixologist and you don’t like eating expertly prepared food from the best chefs/​restaurants in Austin??? Then why do you live in Austin? If you do than you should have been at this event!
They had everyone from Weather Up to The Peached Tortilla bringing the food to Bloody Revolution and 512 Tequila slinging their samples! This event was probably one of my favorites of the year to attend in this spacious venue!
They had welcome cocktails and a free flow atmosphere that allowed you to pick and choose where you wanted to wine and dine so to speak! Who doesn’t love liberal pours and also food vendors who smile when you come back for seconds or thirds??? They had some high tops that allowed you to stop and set your plate and drink down to relax for a minute! I loved the drink competition mash up on stage at the end when they crowned the Official Drink of Austin

When the Austin Food & Wine Alliance puts on an event they really roll out the red carpet in an Austin way! If you aren’t there then you aren’t anywhere!
I loved how the venue was accommodating to the cold weather by having heaters outside for people who wanted to venture out to smoke or enjoy some fresh air!
