Shawn is great. He has helped us with so many house projects. We would highly recommend him!

Since we moved to Austin three years ago, we have worked with several residential services/​handymen on our 1969 home. We have experienced problems with poor skills, working too fast which led to redoing certain tasks, over-​pricing, and inattention to details. We became frustrated with lack of pride in workmanship. My husband and I became «supervisors» in our own home! We have replaced or redone much of the house and still have a list of jobs to be done.
We started working with Shawn a couple of weeks ago. He is professional, personable, has fair pricing. He communicates well with us about everything and has patience for our endless questions! His customer care is above anything we could have hoped for. He has respect for our home through all tasks. We couldn’t be happier.
One of our larger jobs is «bumping» out the garage to make it more spacious. This will involve rather extensive limestone work. He was straightforward in saying he wouldn’t take this on himself, but promptly arranged for a quote with someone he highly recommended.
This is truly a 5-​STAR rating. Shawn has the customer in mind every step of the way.

Shawn is great! He did a kitchen remodel for us, and that included work on walls, floors, cabinets, and various loose ends. He also built a deck outside the kitchen door. The quality of his work is great, and he checks in regularly as the work continues. Shawn is also great about communicating (via text, phone, or email), which is incredibly valuable in his line of work. In addition to all of this Shawn is very personable and down to earth. He also treats your home as if it were his own.

The Worker Bee, Shawn, was AWESOME. He knows how to think on his feet and fix issues as they were uncovered AND he always kept me in the loop. His work was beautiful and he left my home spit-​spot. I would highly recommend his services.

The three outstanding qualities of The Worker Bee are (1) communication, (2) quality work, and (3) honesty. I initially contacted Shawn for a bid to paint my house’s exterior. The project became a vinyl siding job (not an up-​sell as much as a contractor listening to my concerns, particularly my (un)willingness to maintain an 40+ year old masonite exterior). The project was not without unforeseen challenges but Shawn’s quick and forthright communication tempered any potentially negative outcomes. I highly recommend The Worker Bee.

Shawn did an amazing job assisting me with my office. My project involved some delicate picture hanging in a historical downtown building and constructing a bookcase. Shawn was friendly, professional, prompt, efficient, and very mindful of his attention to detail. He really helped me design a work space which is both functional and beautiful. I recommend Shawn and plan on hiring him in the future!
