I drove past this Texas chainsaw massacre looking place hundreds of times. I thought it was an abandoned building full of dead hookers and porno magazines. Then, one day I noticed it was open. I thought, what goes on in there? Does anyone stop in? Why would they? HOLYCRAP!!! Was I wrong. This place is awesome! The bartender, Melissa, is the sweetest bartender I have ever met. She knows how to be a comforting host. Thanks Melissa for being so nice and fun! The atmosphere is relaxing and calm. There is nothing like kicking back and enjoying a beer next to a creek full of fish and turtles. I enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles with the dead hooker parts, jk. Melissa actually gave me bread. Check this place out. It looks like shit from the outside, but is really cool once u get in there.

This is a great little secret in Austin! The BEST bartender in town! Melissa is awesome! Your ice cold beer will never go dry on her watch! Sundays open mic is a must do some Sunday Funday. The owners are extremely nice and laid back! Ask for bread to feed the fish & turtles(the turtles have names FYI). This place is so worth the venture off the beaten path! Good times and very very good people! Just Go.

The owners are amazing, the atmosphere is perfect, the beer is cold. This place is a must, think I just found my new spot. Not too busy and the waitress/owner is amazingly attentive and an awesome kinda bubbly. This will def not be my last time here. I plan on this being one of my main spots… Peace out!!!

Nice, chill, off-the-beaten-path place! The owners, Tom and Melissa, are really cool people. Plenty of outdoor seating, nice little creek runs by, good drink prices, pool table and dart board. They also have bands and open mic nights. Definitely be coming back here with some friends in the future.

Great family owned bar tucked away down Volente. They serve beer and wine(cheap!) and have a pool table/jukebox inside if you get tired of the view outside. Not too many mosquitos either(amazingly), and dogs are allowed. It’s a nice place for a beer after heading up 2222 to get to Cedar Park.
