Still no word back from this company. I call back periodically because $ 75 is a lot of money. These people are thieves.

I got burned on the Living Social deal too! Called and emailed several times and never got a reply. Fortunately LS returned my money quickly.

it makes me feel better that i had the same experience that a most of the other posting reviews have had. Bought the living social. called them a month ahead to schedule an appointment. made the appointment. called them the day before to make sure they were still coming. no answer. the day came and went. NO SHOW. no answers on the phone, left tons of messages. no call. Living Social refunded me though after 2 weeks i called them. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!! i don’t even think it is a real company.

After months of trying to get ahold of them (since Living Social wasn’t offering refunds at the time), I did. We scheduled an appointment for September 18. They were suppose to show up at 2 pm and be done by 4 pm, but the owner said that the crew maybe late. I was fine with that since she said they would give me a 30 minute heads up before showing up.
Well, September 18^th came and went. Guess what didn’t happen?! That’s right — they didn’t show up! I was at my house from 2 to about 3:30. I had my phone on and nothing. What a waste of time for me.
Thankfully, Living Social had so many complaints that they canceled the deal and I was able to get my money back.

It appears I should have researched this company as I ran into a similar no show no response situation as other reviewers :(
I purchased a Moolala deal to have my house cleaned using this service. I scheduled an appointment and they never showed nor contacted me to inform me they couldn’t make the appointment. I called them twice and left two voicemails along with sending them two emails and I got no response. I finally followed up with Moolala and they thankfully were able to refund my purchase.
This business has bad communication and customer service issues. I would recommend people look elsewhere for house cleaning service.

More like their name should be called U Got Scammed! They stole from me and didn’t clean my house but took the Living Social Deal that I left on the counter after only cleaning ½ the house. After calling them 30 times to come back and do their job, I realize that I got tricked… never leave the house for a second when maids are in there. I came back in 15 min and they left. How do I go about reporting theft of $ 65?

They were test of my patience!!! I bought a living social deal and they schedule me after 20 days… I understand that they were busy especially because they had a cheap living social deal going on… I called them a day before the scheduled day several time but no-​one responded. The day came and no one showed up… I left voice messages, I left email message and almost after a week, I received an email with apology and an offer to service after a week. I specifically asked Ms. Guerrero that If there are any change in plans, let me know because I’ll have to take off from my job on that particular day. Again the day came and they didn’t show up, no picking up phone and no email. I emailed them to refund my money back, and since then I didn’t hear anything from them. Living Social is not refunding my money as they have refund policy of 7 days.
Beware of this business because they were unethical, unprofessional, and dishonest to me… I would NOT want these people in my house anyways!!!

I would like to be able to tell you about their cleaning but no such luck. They made an appointment and never showed up at my house. I have called and emailed to no avail. Do not use them it will be a waste of your time.

U Got It Maid seems to have really cleaned up their act (pun intended) since these negative review were written. I got a text from one of the maids about an hour before the scheduled time of my cleaning, asking if I would like them to come EARLY. I appreciated having that option, but asked that they come at the scheduled time instead. They arrived less than ten minutes after the appointed time and both ladies were friendly and professional. I asked them to text me again when they were finishing up and went off to have lunch with my boyfriend. They texted me about and hour and a half later and I returned home to a clean, good-​smelling apartment. The only complaint I have is that they removed the dirty dishes from the dishwasher and put them away in the cabinets. But they wouldn’t have had any way of knowing that they were dirty, so it’s no big deal. I would use this company again.

After purchasing the Living Social and subsequently reading the reviews, I was pretty convinced that I was about to have an unpleasant experience. When I tried to book an appointment they never answered the phone, and I never bothered leaving a message on their voicemail since everybody said it would not be returned. Instead I sent an email, and got a call back within about an hour and booked for the following Sunday (only available time). So far so good.
Mama M.‘s review from yesterday gave me hope that this might work out after all. I did not receive a confirmation the day before, which worried me. My appointment was for 11:00am, so I tried calling and sent an email requesting confirmation. It is now 1:30, I have wasted the entire afternoon waiting in the house trying to keep the kids from going nuts since I could not go out.
I understand the company was overwhelmed by the response to their promotions, but that only explains limited appointment availability. Consistently missing appointments, failing to pick up the phone when it rings, and not bothering to contact customers whose appointments have been delayed is a failure that cannot be forgiven simply because they are busy.
Please note that this review (and all of the other 1-​star reviews) are not a reflection on the quality of the cleaning they provide (since none of us actually got to experience it.) It is a reflection on their business practices. I am sure that the individuals who actually perform the cleaning are working their butts off to try to get through this rough patch, but the support staff the coordinates everything is either terrible at their jobs, or simply does not exist.
Like another reviewer, now I have to scramble to book my usual cleaning service before my out of town guests arrive this week, and contact Living Social for a refund.

After reading the negative reviews, I realized that U Got It Maid has probably really stepped up its game.
I purchased the Living Social deal about a month ago and finally had the chance to redeem it. I called them about a week ago and left a voicemail to schedule a house cleaning on ⁸⁄₁₅ or ⁸⁄₁₆.
Since I’m a pretty impatient person, I didn’t bother waiting for a response to my voicemail. I ended up emailing them right after I left my message. I got a response shortly after that saying those dates were booked but they could come on ⁸⁄₁₇ (today). Even better! I didn’t expect to be able to get anyone on the weekend.
They contacted me by email last night re-​confirming my appointment for today. Then, I received a text asking for more specifics on my home, so they could ensure they had the right cleaning supplies.
Then this morning they texted to let me know when they were leaving so I would have an idea of what time they would get here.
Both the ladies were super professional and efficient. I would use them again!

Terrible service! Bought the living social deal for house cleaning for my rental house I was moving out of. Even though deal covered the area they told me they would be charging extra since it was a move out. Really? Isn’t it easier to clean an empty house? Unfortunately, I could have dealt with that had there not been other issues. The cleaning job was poor at best, and the cleaners lowered my AC unit to 55 degrees! And LEFT IT THERE WHEN THEY LEFT. This was not discovered until later that day when I went back. And so I just got my final electric bill which was over $ 300 (even in the summer the high was $ 200) thanks to these crappy maids. So not only did I pay for the ‘deal’ I paid $ 50 extra to begin with plus now over $ 100 on my electric bill. For a crappy job to begin with. This cost me more than a full price quality maid would have. Save yourself time and money and do NOT use this company!

I had the same experience– they wanted to schedule on July 4 and I said, «but that is a holiday» and the woman was like, «oh, that is why the schedule was empty.» So we scheduled July 5 at 7:30 and no show– no return phone calls, no nothing. I am calling Living Social today and request a refund. BOO.

I also bought the living social deal and was looking for a company to stick with on a regular basis. Was scheduled for 11 – 2 on Sat, ⁷⁄₆ and had called them the week before to confirm. They responded by text that yes, the appointment was confirmed. At 1:45 I called to ask if anyone was coming. At 2:10, I got a phone call that they had to reschedule my appt because of a death in the owners family. I understand this is out of the company’s control. However, calling me at ten minutes after the END of my scheduled window to inform me of this? After I had already straightened up in anticipation of a cleaner coming, and spent the best part of my holiday weekend’s Saturday waiting around? NOT COOL.
They rescheduled me for the following Tuesday (same 11 – 2 timeframe), after I objected to being pushed off until ⁷⁄₁₆. I get a call at 11:01 giving me my 30 minute warning that someone was on their way. I call back at 11:24 to confirm and was told that they are already headed somewhere else, because they couldn’t reach me. I let them know I was in a meeting at work, but my husband is home waiting for them… like we scheduled. Apparently, they will just turn around and not even come to the house to SEE if someone is home. I was told to reschedule again.
Sorry, honey. YOU take the risk of someone not being home. NOT the client. I’m moving on to another company, and I suggest you do the same.
