I’ve stayed here about a week now and this is what I know. Additional services Internet towel exchange house keeping Dish Pack Coffee Maker Laundry Vending These things cost extra, but if you don’t need them than no problem. My room is clean although the whole hotel smells like ciggs. You can park on all sides of the hotel so if you’re paranoid about your car you can keep an eye on it. The place is inexpensive and I’ve felt relatively safe. It’s right off a highway which is worth it and also near grocery/restaurants/clothing. The bathroom is a nice size in the studio suites and there are full size fridge, two burners, and a large sink in the kitchen area. I like the place, it’s a lot better having one place to stay for a long period of time than to have to keep switching hotels.

My husband and I stayed here for three weeks while we waited for our apartment to be move-in ready. The price can’t be beat; it was significantly cheaper than most extended stay hotels in the area. After taxes, we were paying $ 217 a week, which is not bad at all.* The hotel was extremely clean, the staff friendly, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an extended stay hotel while their housing situation is in limbo. All in all it’s a SAFE, CLEAN, INEXPENSIVE hotel. SERVICES/ROOM: This is what you get for your money: studio room with a bed, armchair, table with two chairs, tv, dresser, 10 hangers, closet, kitchen(sink, fridge, microwave, stovetop with two burners), and a bathroom. The basic service supplies you with basic cable(about 20 channels), 2 bath towels, 2 wash towels, 3 trash bags in the kitchen, and 3 trash bags in the bathroom. What you DON’T get here, is housekeeping service everyday, change of sheets/towels, and pots/pans. So, you get housekeeping service every other week, and you can choose to do linen service for a set fee(I think it was $ 7) for the week and also you can rent out a coffee maker and pots. You take out your own trash and can do laundry onsite. As you can tell, you get the basics here, which is why you are paying so much less than other chains. STAFF/CUSTOMER SERVICE: The front desk is also not open 24⁄7. I believe M-F they were open from 9−6pm, and then on the weekends they have staff at the front desk for shorter hours. I will say that the front desk staff(Sarah) is FABULOUS. Very excellent and friendly customer service, and if anything should happen after hours, they have staff on site and you can call an emergency number. There are also cameras everywhere, and they are on 24/7, so any shady behavior is recorded both inside and outside the building. LOCATION: While the hotel is pretty far north, there are lots of little great places nearby, such as Kerbey Lane Café, Alamo Drafthouse, Vulcan Video, Thundercloud Subs, and Jardin Corona. There is a Dollar Tree, HEB, Target and Walmart nearby for any last minute needs you might need at the hotel. NEGATIVES: The walls here are EXTREMELY thin. We could hear our neighbor talk on the phone and put food in the microwave. Our upstairs neighbor also apparently had OCD as he would walk(heavily) around in circles for hours at night. You can also hear the traffic noise off of 183, but you get used to it after the first night. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel. *You must stay for minimum a week. You pay a week in advance and if you leave a few days before the week is up, you do NOT get your money back for those days, so plan wisely.
