Redefining church as a people, and not just a place, I’ve found Vox to be one of the most extraordinary and impactful churches that I’ve ever been a part of. Connection between members and servitude to the community is outstanding. I revere this place and the relationships I’ve built here. Sunday service integrates brilliant humor, techie and plain folk Austisims, art and music, and daily modern life into teachings of the Bible. You will feel warm and welcomed here.
P. s. I discovered this church 4 years ago based on its great Unilocal ratings, and it’s been home to me ever since.

I keep coming back Everytime I am in town for this little piece of heaven! I love the essence of community and creativity! I love the depth and intellect that has made this place so special in my heart. Definitely a church that makes you feel that you need to move out to Austin just for it!
Love the diversity and the crowd who are well traveled!

HIGH RESPECT for Gideon, his family, and staff.
They live what they teach and I can’t say that many people can do that.
I’m not writing this post because of one person or thing… but I truly believe that anyone who comes here will be blessed and can bless others in ways they never knew.

Big Fan of Vox. It’s a place to learn about Jesus in a non-​threatening environment. It’s neat to see a church that believes in serving the community and helping the poor. Good place to worship and hear a message that is challenging and eye-​opening. Love the fact that Vox is in East Austin and that Vox embraces the surrounding commuinity. Gideon always gives an entertaining message.

The name means «voices of grace». This is a happening place for the younger asian community in Austin… but they are open to all. specifically «contextualized» for the 18 – 35 crowd. Great at social justice, loving the poor. serving the community with their hands. Heart is to be the church outside the church. Beautiful worship — very Coldplay meets Americana style of music. Opportunity for communion weekly. I love the heart of this place. The pastors are younger and accesible.
