I always go to this Walgreens. people are always friendly and the pharmacy employees are very helpful… even when they are busy they still are kind. The pharmacist Mike, does an amazing job! I believe he is fairly new to the store and I have seen quite the turn around since he has been the head pharmacist. Before being a frequent regular at this Walgreens, I had a bad experience at one in Houston. But since living in Austin this is my go to spot. But the good work guys!

I always received excellent service from this location. The only complaint I have is that things are usually more expensive than other stores.

Worst pharmacy. Extremely short staffed & slow service! I tried calling before stopping in, but after 30 minutes of being on hold i gave up.

I have two Walgreens to choose from in my neighborhood, this one and the one off Metric & Braker. I usually find myself driving the extra 1.6mi to this one(even though the stoplight at Parmer can be a hot mess post 5pm) for three reasons. The first reason is the cleanliness of the store. The other store always seems to look like a tasmanian devil has wreaked havoc, why? I have no clue. The second reason is the staff/cashier lines. There is usually not a line here and it may have something to do with them either opening their second cashier when they see a queue forming and/or they open checkout in the beauty section, which I always find quick and helpful, especially when I am in a Walgreens Rush(aka, I came for a small number of very specific items that I can grab and go in under 5mins and not spend half my life behind the elderly person who has 50 coupons and wants to pay with their coin collection). The staff here always greets me when I walk in and when I need help finding something will actually walk me to the aisle I can find it instead of glaring and pointing. The third reason is the Redbox here. It is an unsolved mystery to me why there are always lines at Redbox locations. I know queueing is one of Austin’s favorite past times(people in this city will stand in line for no reason other than standing in a line), but come on… it is a DVD rental box, not a voting booth, your decision-making time should not cause me to adjust my watch for daylight savings. Somehow, there is a Redbox line vortex at this location, so if I have to return a DVD(especially pre-Walgreens Rush) or rent one, I can do so in a very reasonable amount of time at this location. Also, probably having something to do with the Vortex, the Redbox here always seems to have more available choices than the others. In the corner Walgreens Wars, convenience will always trump distance in my book.

It’s a basic Walgreens nothing crazy looks like every other one in Austin. This one is fairly well kept and clean though. Selection is pretty much the same and it looks like the shelfs are well stocked. Service is ok nothing great nothing that blows your socks off. I come because it’s easy for me get here and it’s convenient to pick up things when you need to without battling the grocery store, target or walmart. Overall nothing crazy to blow your mind but is not bad either

Frequent flyer at this store. On the good side, it’s clean and most of the staff are quite nice and helpful. The cosmetics lady is great and us always happy to check you out to avoid the lines up front. The pharmacists are fantastic. However, over the last few years they’ve started staffing the pharmacy register with surly, unhelpful morons. I guess they are cost cutting and don’t want to pay people who have been through a Pharm. Tech program anymore. These front line people are ignorant of the names of common medications and are only capable of putting things under the barcode reader and hitting a few keys so the moron-proof registers can give the customer a receipt. They also tend to not have great English skills, which is dangerous in a pharmacy. If you’re a regular like me please complain to the pharmacists(in white coats) and demand a better standard of employees in the pharmacy. Other than this problem it’s a 4-star store.

Not the greatest Walgreens. Poorly organized, limited stock/options, and overly apathetic service. Just moved to the area and will be checking out the other one on Parmer & Metric.
