Truly regrettable experience every time I come here. As others have mentioned, ALWAYS a long wait at the pharmacy regardless of whether there is only 1 person ahead of me or 6 people ahead of me, and regardless of what time of day I go.
Maybe it’s harsh to give a one-​star review for long waits in the pharmacy but it’s enough to make me never want to go back (and to inspire a Unilocal review!)

I go here for a lot of stuff, including getting pictures printed (²⁴⁄₇ which is amazing). This review is ONLY for the pharmacy. Literally the worse pharmacy in the world. They 100% do not answer the phone and usually don’t have anything ready when they say they will.

I honestly don’t know why this Walgreens has so many bad reviews. I have been a customer for 3years with the pharmacy and just to buy things I need. It has been great.

This walgreens deserves absolutely no stars! Never come here, they have the worst customer service from everyone in the pharmacy including the pharmacist. Their one hour wait is never one hour plan for two or more and even at the end of that time they will come back and ask for 20 more minutes and 20 more after that. It’s a disgrace to the walgreens brand and I would never come her of it wasn’t the closest 24 hour walgreens.

Slow as hell, unorganized, always a line. How about waiting 4 hours for a prescription getting home and realizing they forgot one!

worst pharmacy service ever! Have been going here for 3 years and I always try to give them another chance because they are so close to me. There are some helpful/​friendly employees but, in general the entire store is of rude employees who do not understand the meaning of customer service-​will have to start going to heb mueller pharmacy now

Their photo lab is awful. Never again. Please, don’t tell me that crappy color quality is how my photos are because I know they definitely are not. Don’t print any of your photos from here. They’ll come out 5 times darker and the assistant will try to convince you that it’s your fault and will be reluctant to redo them.

I have been going to this Walgreens for over 2 years now (I know, shame on me) so I guess it’s time to write a review. I keep coming to this Walgreens because it’s very close to my house and it’s the pharmacy on file with my doctor, so I always forget to tell them to send it to a different one. Anyhow, the pharmacy drive through is SO SLOW… I have sat at the drive through for over 45 minutes before, no joke. They have also been out of a medication that I get refilled monthly on multiple occasions… and by multiple I actually mean almost half of the time I try to get this prescription filled. To top it all off in the last six months they conveniently placed an upside down SHOPPING CART in one of the lanes so that cars can only drive through one lane, and when I picked up my prescription last week I saw that they have now replaced the shopping cart with a cone… still not solving any problems.
They also charged my prescriptions to the wrong insurance over a 3 month period which consumed a lot of my time (and money) to fix. Funny enough, it took several visits to fix this problem, but it wasn’t actually fixing the problem that was time consuming, it was waiting on someone to assist me that took FOREVER. big surprise there.
I have never had this problem at a Walgreens before, so I guess my point is that this location needs to get it together. They have not only let this issue go on for too long (2+ years) but it has gotten worse with time. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because I’ve never had any problems while shopping at this location.
It’s just the pharmacy is so slow and the pharmacists are unapologetic for the ridiculously long wait. Now I wish I would have taken the time to write this review during my last (and final) visit there last week.

I came here against the advice of other reviewers when another Walgreen’s didn’t have enough of my medication to fill my prescription. Don’t make the same mistake!!! It will save you a whole lot of frustration to go to any other Walgreens, and it’d literally be faster to go to one in Waco.
The fiasco is too long of a story to detail in its entirety; but, suffice it to say, it was a disaster of epic time wasting proportion. The cherry on top was that the lady «helping» me acted as if I was being an expectant princess for even suggesting that I shouldn’t have to jump through flaming hoops of fire to fill a normal prescription.

Worst. Slowest pharmacy in the world. Will switch to one farther away bc it’s so incredibly terrible.

Nice pharmacy assistant, Volonda. It was clear she was not well trained but was very apologetic and sweet. Her managers seemed unwilling or too busy to help her. Nice lady, I hope she will change jobs and move to a pharmacy where her skills will be better utilized. It took me a full hour to get a flu shot.

I called in a refill at 1pm on a Tuesday and was told it would be ready in 3 hours. This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I’ve currently been in the drive through 30 minutes and 1 car has gone through. This was after my husband waited inside for 30 minutes for one girl to get through. Unfortunately he has PTSD and couldn’t handle the unruly child throwing merchandise at him while their mother sat there ignoring her kid (technically not Walgreens fault, but paints the picture of the atmosphere here). I would suggest any other pharmacy in Austin.

This Walgreens pharmacy drive thru has poor customer service. I’ve been sitting here for more than 20 minutes with no one answering my simple question of if a prescription came through. They need more pharmacy technicians or something. The drive thru is not convenient if you have to wait 20 minutes to even get customer service! Find a different Walgreens

This is probably the worst Walgreens pharmacy in town. Rude staff and pharmacists that don’t know how to read prescriptions properly, and flat out lie to you. They have MAJOR attitude too!
Once they gave me someone else’s medication and blamed it on me when I immediately returned it! Another time they didn’t pin down my credit card and it went blowing down the street.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I had some prescriptions transferred there, or so I thought, and when I went to pick them up they were not only not ready (after having had several days to prepare them) they said it was too early to pick them up in the prescription cycle. I had already been out of my medication for several days so that made no sense whatsoever.
I gave them one more chance and tried to pick up a refill on a prescription for an asthma inhaler. Not only was it not ready (shocker), but after the tech/​clerk told me she would have to get it ready and wandered off, she came back and with a great deal of attitude told me that it wasn’t ready and would take at least an hour and a half to get ready. To be clear, my inhaler doesn’t require preparation at all, they just need to get it off the shelf, put a label on the box and hand it to me. That’s it.
After the phenomenal incompetence I’ve seen here I think I’ll trust my prescription medication to literally anywhere else. Be warned! The waits are long, the people are rude, and no one seems to know what they’re doing!

I gave this place a one star, but they don’t even deserve that. A client of mine took some photos I’d done for her to the Walgreens photo center to be printed. They wouldn’t print her pictures without a release form from the photographer. I called up the photo center to see if there was an easy way to get them what they needed to give my client her images and they were completely unhelpful. I finally told the manager that I’d recommend to my client to have her prints done somewhere else and he clearly couldn’t have cared less. Their customer service is the worst I’ve seen in years, maybe even the worst ever. Don’t do business with this store!

I went on line and scheduled a shot to be given at the Walgreens at Capital Plaza. When I got to Walgreens I was just another person in line. I do not blame the store for this. It seems that the appointment system either has a flaw or jus plane does not work. I will never again use the on line appointment system set up by Walgreens.
Next I blame the store management for not properly staffing the pharmacy. What should have been a 10 minute process took about 40 minutes. This is due to not having enough people staffed at the right locations. I do not blame the workers. They did all they could to keep up with the flood of people waiting to get their medications.

Its funny how none of the reviews on here are good. well here’s one more. I come into the pharmacy to get my rx filled… seeing so many people in the store, I’m like ok. I’ll come back in an hour no problem. I come back and my prescription wasnt even ready. So I go to the pharmacist window and talk to some troll looking person name Rochelle that looks like she could be a former Rainbow bright member. remember those? Well Yeah, she says I’m sorry we’re doing the best we can. I was like umm. really? If its not gonna be ready till tomorow or next week or next year for crying out loud, then just say it. Dont just make up things to piss ppl off… Later when i came back for the 3^rd trip, I talked to another pharmacist who looked overly stressed. He told me that they were really backed up and that this troll Rochelle leaves the pharmacy during their busiest time to ‘run errands’ WOW. Then some budget cut yada yada and basically one man trying to do 3 peoples’ jobs without making any mistakes.
Walgreens you are THE WORST. you have horrible service, you dont have enough help in the pharmacy so things aren’t getting done in a timely manner and things seem too chaotic… Definitely have lost my business and anyone that reads this.

The most unbelievably slow pharmacy EVER — ANYWHERE.
OTOH, it’s big, 24-​hour, well lit, and has cheaper prices on most prescriptions than HEB or CVS.
One-​half star for the convenience of the pharmacy, 4-​stars for the good pharmacy prices, but averages out to hardly worth the savings most of the time. One or two stars — rounded up to two.
