Warmswim

As I noticed I went off on a bit of a tangent let me start by saying, I highly recommend Warmswim.
Warmswim did an installation for a friend in March for their new pool. They were very pleased so I did not shop around but have no regrets with regards to using Warmswim. My challenges are with solar heating in general. Pre-​Sale (April) Tom did a good job of educating me on how the system would work and setting expectations. However, that didn’t prevent me from being a little disappointed by the fact that it took about 2 weeks before I could comfortably swim. (My solar heating system was installed around Mother’s day so lots of rain and cool weather).
The amount of heat produced by your system is at the mercy of weather and the amount of sun. So you may be able to swim comfortably one day and the pool be a bit cool the next. Intellectually you get this but… Also, like any solar heating system the panels can be a bit of an eye sore on your roof.
If you have decided that solar heating is for you I definitely recommend Warmswim. Tom and his crew were great. I’ve phoned Tom a few times with questions and he is always responsive. In fact, he was out today as I had a question about the system. Fantastic customer service.

Warm Swim helped retrofit an existing solar panel system that they didn’t originally install after it had been removed from the roof to do a renovation project. They did a great job reinstalling the system and syncing it to the pool control panel and remote. Tom and his crew were easy to schedule with, showed up on time, and did high quality work. I will definitely use them for any ongoing maintenance of the system and if I ever need to install a new set of panels.

I am so pleased with the project that American Solar Living did for me. They were very courteous and willing to take the time to explain things to me. They are very knowledgeable and I felt were committed to making certain that I was satisfied with their work and their price. They left the work area clean and neat. I would definitely use them for my next project.

My solar water heater had gone out with a house full of guests, during winter. Not a good thing to happen. Tom actually answered my phone call while he was traveling and promised to come the next day. He came out in the morning, figured out what was wrong and went and got the part it needed and fixed it that day. He explained everything in a way I could understand and was VERY patient. Definitely a company you should use.

Tom did an excellent job for me’ his estimate was the exact charge for the job. He cleaned up every day before leaving the job sight, and he enabled me to have 2 or 3 extra months of swim time. His construction is very sturdy and he explained how to work the control box very succinctly until I understood it compleatly. Only 3 steps on and 3 steps off. I would recommend him to my friends and family as a person who does what he said he would do.
